Just as it sent supplies to the Americans by the Mississippi River towards the zone of the great lakes because the British had controlled the Atlantic coast of NA. In addition Spain financed much of the war, even on one occasion it had to pay the French and North American armies to fight, because France was ruined and could not pay its soldiers. Spain put a lot of money and many supplies. What happens with Spain is that was the historical enemy of England, its great actions in history have been overshadowed or directly erased from official history.

Greatest mistake they ever made. The example of the American Revolution inspired the French and was one of the causes of the French Revolution. And the US later backstabbed Spain in 1898.
Skoonk I know well that the founding fathers of the USA had a lot of respect for Spain, and that does it for me, but we can't ignore the Cuba disaster that ended the Spanish empire once for all, remembered as one of the biggest backstabs in history.

The United States really evolved, from barely holding itself together in the 1780s to the superpower it is today in the 2020s. America is basically unstoppable. Yes recently the US has gotten more polarized, but we remain strong, hopefully. We have the most stable government of any country (not to mention we were the worlds first Constitutional Republic or Liberal Democracy) the government is large enough to ensure care for its citizens but small enough to ensure freedom to its people. Yes there were dark times in American history (and our government has made pretty bad decisions), but we the people have always put our differences aside. We liberated ourselves from the tyrants of Europe and now we liberate other countries from Fascist or “Communist” authoritarians. Hopefully America remains strong
Edit: Also thanks to all the people saying positive things about our country. It makes me happy :) (but I don’t mind the criticism either. This country is far from perfect)

It is amazing to see the history of Europe from about 400bc to current.
The US history in North America is something missing from education.
But, watching that video of Europe was eye opening. Learned about it in school, but watching the nations come and go was shocking.
