Thanks for such quick reply and link. Used to get 60 mpg on Sr 500 running 65mph so this would give the same or more mpg ❤️ the tank improves look of tdub
Me being new to the TW200 I was hoping that you would have another TW video soon. You are reading my mind, I have already been considering the bigger tank since seeing your latest tank swap but I was literally just thinking this morning how the big tank would affect the “top heaviness” of the bike. Having owned a KLR650 I am not a big fan of top heavy, however that was my only complaint about the KLR. Thanks for another great video.
@@wisdomandthewoods7422 Let's just say I hate reserve at 210. I could possibly go 270. I did 10 days, 2040 miles with just one fuel stop a day. 65 mpg and my buddy on his GS ran out of fuel before I did!😁
Thanks! I have to say though, if you don't mind about the looks, the clear one really helps you have a fuel gauge! A friend of mine painted his clear one and left a thin line to read the level. Kinda looks cool! Thanks for watching!!!
And as far as getting every last drop, if it’s running there would be a small vacuum from the engine running correct? I’ve had fuel filter get partially stopped up and not free flow fuel but bump started the bike and once running was able to draw enough fuel through the filter to run to limp back home
Most efficient bike I owned was a 17 cb500x, averaged 78. Always hit 300 miles before fuel light went on with .9 gal reserve. Would not take it offroad

@jamessisson840 I really like it man. I had the Clarke 2.8g before and this one just fits way better. Legs fit around it good and all
Put a petcock on the right side like on DR 650 after market tanks so you don't have to tip the bike over,
good reminder to lean bike over to get fuel to petcock side of tank. i just explained that to my beginner rider. could save a walk out of the woods!
@@wvadv that's right!!!

I have a 4.1 gal on mine and handling does not seem to be an issue.
@@frostbitevinnie That’s awesome man. How many miles are you getting between fuel ups?
Yep, didn't really notice any excessive awkwardness when it was full to be honest.

@@PSBEadventures me either. I think since the Tdub is low to begin with makes all the difference.
Very well set up TW! Where did you get the switch panel on the handlebars?
@@FlannelAnimal304 thanks. That's the procycle dash. Comes with the usb charger and two switches. procycle.us/product/2936
Plus the black looks WAY better than the clear-ish ones.

Just ordered the Clarke tank from procycle for the xt225 today lol hope it fits as well as that ims fits the tdub
@@DirtRider22a oh yeah. Put one on a few weeks back. Fits great

@sassed12many great bikes! As the saying goes "it's a Honda!"
I would love to have a T-Dub with a diesel engine. No telling how far it will go on a tank.
