Man, finding a stranger in a huge border like that and out of nowhere he offers help with documents and hosting in his mother's house. Then riding in the dark with no lights for a while. A positive end for this plot is almost difficult to believe. My faith in humanity is restored. Take care, Noraly. 🙏

The west Politicans/Gov/Media always trying to brainwash the world citizens telling us that the Iranian & Iraq citizens "hate" everyone in the West. We see that these politicians/gov/media are spewing nothing but lies.
Thank goodness we are seeing the truth with Noraly's vid showing that these citizens in these two countries are incredibly welcoming, kind while suffering so much from embargoes.
Thank you to Mahmad, his mother & all those at the border crossing for being so so so kind to our beloved Noraly. ♥ May all those that have helped Noraly & were so kind to her be blessed throughout your life & your family too. ♥

The man who repaired the wiring has the air of one who has repaired many things, sitting down, gets comfortable, looks at the thing, no rush, checks his work, in tune with the Universe, giving his skills for free, not the first time, or the last.

I have an Iraqi neighbour here in Ottawa, Canada. I had way too many tomatoes from my garden so I was giving them to my neighbours. I also shared some fresh garlic from the farm where I volunteer. The ONE person who gave me something in return (I didn't ask or expect anything) was the Iraqi. He has since brought me pistachios, sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts, vacuum-packed and shipped directly from his garden in Iraq! The freshness of the nuts makes such a difference. The taste was outstanding.

Dear Noraly, I am an American, a military veteran. My heart is broken watching these dear kind people helping you. At the beginning of this season when you told us of your travel plans into Iran and Iraq I had great reservations. You open a window into our world where there are good people wherever you go. Thank you. On a side note my father served in the American army during WWII finally being one of the troops that entered Germany. One of the things I remember him saying was the German people were an honest people even after the terrible things that happened there. what a legend this Mohammed!!
as being dutch myself - and having lived abroad for over 25 years now - I see how we as western-europeans have forgotten the importance of hospitality. These people don't know you Noraly - but they help you, because they want to and help you on your way. I love it - it's so beautiful to see. I'm sometimes ashamed to see how the media is reporting on this kind of countries, of course: burocracy is horrendous, but all are helping you to come through. Thank you for showing this beautiful side of humanity.

As an Iraqi who had to flee the country due to wars, it makes me so proud. This is the true Iraqi spirit that no one is gonna tell you about. They didn't know they were being recorded. They just did everything out in good faith. Despite all the wars, conflict over the last many years. They still have the spirit and the laugh on their faces and help others. FYI alot of Iraqi people had to become knowledgeable in alot of aspects of life and fix anything (Technology, Electrical, Mechanics..etc) due to hard living conditions in there and not having the financial capacity, so they had to learn alot of things themselves. Thanks Noraly for showing this, great video as always

Norally as always we are very grateful to you for taking into account many factors as you traverse this diverse continent with so many different cultures and systems. Thanks to Mohammeds mum and Mohammed himself too for being very caring human beings. It is not every day that you meet a young man who has been raised up by a mother who also cherishes guests.
The fact that Frankie got her night vision partially restored at no cost is also another mark of true help in that part of the world. For some of us the kind of stories we used to hear about Iraq got us scared about anything to do with Iraq. We actually imagined that it was a place that was always at war and that the people living there were trained to fight everyone else. Little did we know that right inside that part of the world there exist people who can literally help a stranger with food and shelter and much more just out of a genuine concern for their fellow human. Your video this time round has brought out many lessons. From riding in the dark and finally getting light at the end of the "tunnel" as they say, to being given generous donations of food and water and meat and stuff to the entire humane treatment you always received while there. I think in your book covering your trips this is one moment among many that should not miss being mentioned.
The motorbike technician there just fixed the bike as though it were his and he just let you go. Wonderful. The world needs more people like those Norally.
I almost forgot to mention he must have read my comment earlier about you switching off the bike using the gear. With your new switch I am sure you can now save Frankie that bumpy switch-off that she was now almost getting used to.
As always we continue putting you in our prayers so that you may remain as safe as possible and always handle both people and situations in your very diplomatic manner as always.
Looking forward to the next trip and also the time when Frankie will have all systems restored to a state where you will be back on track as close to 100% as possible.
Enjoy the next part of the adventure. We are still waiting for you in Kenya so kindly ensure Frankie and yourself are always in tip-top shape.
