      I can’t afford the “better” or “best” cheese. Out of the “cheaper” brands, for sandwiches Sargento is best so TOTALLY disagree with you. There IS a difference in taste. For snacking, my favorite is Definitely laughing cow with herbs. Did NOT like President’s Brie. GROSS 🤮

    To be honest, I sometimes eat an individual Laughing Cow Cheese.
    Not with cracker, bread or whatever. On its own. I like the creaminess.

    I live in Vermont, Cabot IS the bomb! Other great companies too. Shelburne Farms, Vermont Creamery, Jasper Hill, Grafton Village...

      Yep. Cabot cheese is top notch. My favorite Cabot cheese is the President Cheddar in black wax. Almost $18.00 a pound.

    As an Oregon native Tillamook is always in our house. Cheese and Ice cream but they also make amazing pepperoni sticks.

    It is kind of expensive and has limited shipping windows to the warmer states, but I really enjoy Kerry Gold cheeses. We always pick some up for the family holidays.

    Cabot makes an aged 5 year cheddar that is so good. The cheese crystallizes in your mouth. I don't know how to describe it. If you are in New England, try to find this 5-yr cheese. It comes in a black wrapper.

    When I was a boy in the 1960s, our milkman from the Foremost dairy always delivered Tillamook cheese in five pound blocks encased in paraffin. I've never tasted better.

    I recently tried Tillamook ice cream and was absolutely blown away, it was the best ice cream I've ever had!

    When I was a child, Velveeta was what my mother used for cheese. My mother bought meat in a small grocery store that had a fresh meat counter at the back of the store.

    All time favorite: Cabot Spicy Jack. It’s sold in the cheese section near the deli. It’s a grade above the Cabot sold in the dairy section, which is also great cheese. Don’t know if Cabot available anywhere but northeast.

    Old Croc Smoked Cheddar Cheese is amazing. I sliced this up for guests at Thanksgiving last year, and a number of them had not had it before. Worth a try!! It's imported from Australia.

    Great list!! So much delicious cheese. Don’t forget the cheese section if you have a Trader Joe’s nearby. They carry many of these selections plus many more at some of the best prices.
    Now, I want cheese. Oh wait! I have some swiss. Off to the kitchen...

    Just about all these cheeses are processed and could only be sold in America. The USA today for cheeses is where the USA was for coffee 20 years ago. You have great tasting to come

    The tour of the Tillamook Creamery is fun and the restaurant was amazing. They're located a little over an hour from us and it's always a great stopover.

      @@bluejem1315 The secret of eating most cheeses is to soften them up by taking them out of the fridge before you eat them. The warming brings out the creaminess and flavor

    I only know Babybel (laughing cow) and president. I do know Gouda, Edammer, Old Amsterdam, Rotterdamse oude and a lot of brands that are from a specific supermarket. Also Grana Padano.

    My dad loved baby Belle and laughing cow.
    We use Polley o mozzarella. I use various saSargent,, borden, cabots, and kraft.

    IMO the vegan and plant made cheese isn't real cheese. It just doesn't make sense to make veggies and plants into some this that comes from milk.

    It's not cheddar unless it was made in England, It taste's completely different. Its like Champaign. If its made somewhere else its sparkling wine.

      Although cheddar cheese was originally produced in the English village of Cheddar, unfortunately the name "cheddar" has no Protected Designation of Origin status.

    At my supermarket, there is Cabot American cheese at the deli. Yes, it's real cheese!

    I've tried maybe 5 different types of Sargento cheeses. Usually when they were on sale to save money. I wouldn't recommend any Sargento cheese to anyone. If you like Sargento cheese its because the cheese buds on your tongue are dead.

      They’re pretty basic I’d suggest trying some European cheese to mix it up even an Edam or Gouda for example instead of the cheddar ! Or pecorino instead of parm! Mozzarella I just pray u don’t buy the pre grated kind 😛😛

    Sorry, in Australia we have 36 month aged cheddar for the same price as single wrap crap cheese. Even in our country taste buds are in the reverse end, though we haven't lowered ourselves to bright orange food dye

    Clearly, the people who made this video know nothing about cheese. Funny, how all the cheese they chose are mass produced and taste nothing like “real” cheese. Methinks, the producers need to travel to Europe to truly understand the variety of good cheese. I wouldn’t buy any of the cheeses mentioned in this video.

      @@soaringkite2673 exactly what I was thinking. They have wonderful imports branded (or re-branded) for Trader Joes. Since they’re owned by Aldi Süd, they have some of the same products but with the Trader Joe’s label for USA.

    I don't think it is fair to have Velveeta on a list comparing cheese because as you pointed out it is not cheese. Velveeta does not even need to be refrigerated. Velveeta(which I love) is like Papa John's I like Papa John's but it is not pizza.

    Once you have had a GOOD Brie you will never touch President's Brie again. If you don't want to develop a VERY expensive Brie habit, then stick President's. The Cabot's, Kerrygold and Tillamook do deserve a place in your Fridge - oh and Baby Bels are a lovely little guilty pleasure as well.
