You have done a great job of designing and recording a series to teach someone who does not sew how to make a quilt. Your explanations of why as well as how are well thought out. I've seen other videos that leave out the why or gloss over it and rush through the how. I would recommend this series to anyone who asks me how to make a quilt, then I can lend them one on one support when they need it.
And make sure you read your sewing machine manual end to end, so it doesn’t take you five years to discover you have a setting for the perfect quarter inch seam 😪
@@lilianag.p.7836I believe because this is a beginner quilt she is having people press seams to the side. In the video (15 tips for beginner quilters) she does talk about pressing open, but says for this series or new quilter patterns she often just uses to the side. Hope that helps

You’re a great teacher! I love that you even tell us small details such as where to place your fingers. 😍
Terrific tutorial! Directions and tips are clear and demonstrated well.
Thank you for the good instructions to record the joints
Fantastic video. You are a great teacher!
I love this block. I’m getting my fabric and going to make this quilt. I was wondering if I could use 10 in square blocks. Thank you.
Very cute block. 😊
The darker fabrics are all the middle squares in my three rows. How do I press the seams?
I’ve watched a couple of your shows mentioning flat pins but couldn’t find them so could you tell me what they are called please
They're called flat head pins and you can grab some here: shop.quiltaddictsanonymous.com/product/flat-flower-pins-pink-2/
I am working on the split 9 patch and I can't seem to find what size finished it will be?
It is approximately 64 inches square.
So what size batting do I buy? It doesn't seem to fit into any of the standard sizes of batting?
I both a brother SQ9285 and I would like to learn more about quilting
❤️❤️❤️

Disappearing 9 patch. A split 9 patch uses half square triangles

I'm so sorry, but what are you asking?
@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous sorry mistyped.,seams open not seems own.,🙃
