Last time I played the soprano recorder was in middle school...around 2002 o 2003. Its now 2017 and I've decided to pick it up again and actually learn how to play it! I did play the clarinet from middle through high school and still have it. But the recorder was my first instrument that I played.
@Bernardo Hagen I procrastinate alot but it's going ok for me. There are books on Amazon that can teach you the finguring and notes (I have one).
Would be nice if I actually had a teacher.

@@trstquint7114 I have a friend who plays the Scottish bagpipes. You should hear them sing. Except it's not quite an aria, but it fills an area!

Why is 99% of videos on youtube about classical music (even 'official ones' like this one) out of sync? What's so hard about checking a moment your edited video and seeing that the sound track and the video track are actually synched?

I feel like I went back in time! So wonderful~ I wonder if she plays the modern clarinet also..? Either way, recorders have such an interesting sound rarely heard anymore.
Hope not! Clarinet-players are ten-a-penny. Recorder players of this calibre are very rare indeed.

Ich bin ungefähr jz so alt wie Lucie damals und spiele ebenfalls Blöckflöte aber sie muss sehr Sehr lange für das geübt haben das sind soooooooo schwere Stücke da steckt mindestens 1 JAHR dahinter Also Leute unterschätzt Blöckflöte auf Keinen Fall sie kann genauso anspruchsvoll sein wie z. B. Klarinette

I looked it up. She only made 4th place. I guess trying to win with a recorder is like trying to win the Ballon d'Or as a goalkeeper.
