The best scene in this entire fight is Gil laughing his head off, relishing the fight, and Enkidu just holding a hand up to his ear enjoying the sound of his friends laughter.
Seeing Gilgamesh fill the whole sky with the Gate of Babylon made me speechless. The fact that he could always do it in Zero and Stay Night just scared me with how much he was truly holding back, and that’s not even counting the usage of Ea.
Now this is the version of Gilgamesh that can truly be called the King of Heroes since he can give even the top tier US superheroes and cosmic level villains a run on their money.
a little additional explanation about Enkidu's Noble Phantasm, Enkidu's Noble Phantasm "Enuma Elish" has many features depending on the situation and conditions when he fights with enemies (especially if the enemy has high divinity). Enkidu is referred to as the Chain of Heaven's because it has the power to bind anything including the gods themselves, and if those of you who have seen Kingu in FGO Babylon will surely realize that the Noble Phantasma they use is different. This is because when fighting Tiamat in FGO Babylon, Kingu chose to turn his Noble Phantasma into a chain because of all the forms of Noble Phantasma he can create, Chain of Heaven's is the only form that can match the power of the Goddess of Creation Tiamat. Meanwhile, Enkidu at FSF chose the form of a Big Tree with Big Flowers as his Noble Phantasma form, because to be able to match Enuma Elish, EA released the form into a giant tree, which is the most optimal form to match it. this is not without reason, the Enuma Elish that EA released is a power capable of destroying the world, and to cool down this power Enkidu needs a power that has the ability to reverse destruction. if Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish can Wound, Rip and Kill the World, then Enkidu's Enuma Elish is his Balina where he Heals, Stitches and Revives the World. the tree that comes forth from Enuma Elish Enkidu, binds the split earth with its tree roots and stitches it back together to keep it in its original state, while the flower that blooms will restrain, weaken and heal the sky affected by Enuma Elish Gilgamesh.

A thought from my friend is a timelime where Gil died instead of Enkidu and Enkidu become the monster he once was, there's also a fanart of Berserker Enkidu and i think it's neat
@@trianimef that were to happen I could see Enkidu not just becoming Beserker but Grand Beserker the very fury of the planet itself on levels of an archetype.
Enkidu being summoned as a Berserker is a guaranteed win. i dont even think even full power Arcueid can even beat Berserker Enkidu due to Enkidu being a servant of the planet too
And to think this fight is just the opening act of the War. Gil vs Enkidu is considered an opening act. An appetizer to the insanity were gonna see as things escalate.
I always thought of Ea as a goddess or cosmic intelligence in the form of a weapon. And that's sort of how Gilgamesh treats her. You see respect and even some reverence out of Gil towards Ea. I was impressed with Gil summoning Ea in Zero, and in UBW, so if you say this version looked even better, I'm excited.
When it comes to EA it's an unnamed tool created and used by an unnamed god in order to create the world... or rather transform the Earth from a molten ball into something that would eventually have life. Ea is the name of Greater God of water and earth, Enuma Elish is the name of the Babylonian creation myth. The "sword" beyond just being a tool is also a "crystallization" of the very event that it was used for. So who knows maybe there is a tiny portion of that original god deep in the sword somewhere. Also that god could be an alien, who knows?
Interesting facts are that Ea or Enki is a Deity associated with creation and other aspects like crafts, intelligence, magic, ect, so it makes sense that the noble phantasm would be a concept created before the world since Ea was a primordial deity. Ea was one of the top 3 with the other two being Anu and Enlil.
Ea was the entity that split Nothingness into Heaven (Anu) and Earth (eventually becoming Tiamat), forming the universe where humanity live in. "Nothingness" was also another name for Akasha so essentially Ea reached the Root of all creation, split it apart, and created everything.
@@rampagepotato4307 I'm pretty sure this isn't accurate. The Earth already existed in it's primal state before Ea transformed it into a planet that life could exist on, so this "nothingness" was seas of magma and atmospheric gases. So there wasn't really any form of "universal" creation... unless you mean the eventually formation of the "Universe of Human Awareness" but that would happen much later on..

Hold up are there 2 gils as there are 2 ayaka since if zero still happen then the mud would have given zero gil a physical body and I recall that ayaka(blonde) recognized Gilgamesh when she saw him in the current grail war
Fate/Strange Fake takes place after an alternate Heaven’s Feel route. So presumably, Fate/Stay Night Gilgamesh is dead. He was summoned again for Fate/Strange Fake. There are 2 Ayaka’s. One is the real Ayaka that’s part of the El-Melloi Classroom. The other is this blonde Ayaka.
The only entity that can comprehend the Sword of Rupture, Ea, has gotta be the Blacksmith God who forged it. This is why I hope Muramasa or some other Blacksmith Servant introduces us to the Gigachad that forged Ea.
It was not forged it was crystallized in the age of the gods as the authority which split the heaven and earth and form the very planets reality which are called Textures
At the end the day shirou was right about Gil he’s a one trick pony. Take away EA and he drops to the point that even human shirou can beat him in a serious 1v1. (Although that’s a very specific matchup but you get what I mean) What I’m trying to say is that Gil isn’t that amazing EA is.
It’s not about EA because that’s not all Gil has. It’s about Gil feeling like he’s above everyone. He is constantly gimping himself in every single grail war because it wouldn’t be challenging otherwise. "Sovereign of Magical Wands" makes him an EX rank Divine magic user and while paired with his clarivoyance, actually makes him a potential Grand Caster candidate. An EX rank presense concealment that is higher than most if not all assassins servents. "Enurta's Ash Oil" ranks up his strength parameter when he is in need, potentially to EX. All of these skill and noble phantasms are canon to him and are competely busted. Kingu has some of enkidu power because the body it self remember how their works but the source of the power is difference.. we can see kingu enuma elish bind tiamat for short time and then turn into clay because it ran out of power that supose to supply it.. but in enkidu case his source of power come from alaya the 'world' its self.. its easy to picture alaya as a world antibody(human antibody for example).. when there's virus or anything that treat human live.. the body will sent antibody to annihilate them.. so enkidu growth is limitless as the treath he face against.. the more strong the opponent (threat to humanity).. the stronger enkidu get.. so if real enkidu present at babilonia and the one who bind tiamat.. he would bind tiamat forever...

Im grinding to get Lvl 120 Gilgamesh.
I'm grinding to get level 120 Enkidu
Does anyone know if Utna Pishtim is in fate yet? Hes part of the original Gilgamesh story
IIRC, in fate extra ccc gil mentioned him on his flashback
@@dohnaseek Gil de Rae? Was he trying to become immortal
@@goatymcgoatface3575 nah Gil is just Gilgamesh but shorter
So emiya is a faker of a faker
Hope this channel has an explanation on pale rider and why enkidu is a bad match up on him.
It's been a long while since I've read and I haven't caught up to recent chapters yet, but from what I remember wasn't it something like Pale Rider is death, while Enkidu is life?
@@yorurumibasically yea
@@yorurumigod curses gil and enkidu with curse of death.
Is it gay if it's clay?
So can gilgamesh ea at full power destroy the world
For the algo

(Although that’s a very specific matchup but you get what I mean)
What I’m trying to say is that Gil isn’t that amazing EA is.
It’s not about EA because that’s not all Gil has. It’s about Gil feeling like he’s above everyone. He is constantly gimping himself in every single grail war because it wouldn’t be challenging otherwise. He’s someone that fits any class, has everyone’s original noble phantasm, has EA, the divine chains, etc. his armor. It’s just again, his attitude is how he continues to lose.
@@kite36a but those are all just his items not actual skills like other servants have.
He’s just an average player that whales to get the epic items but doesn’t really know how to use any of them (except enkidu and EA but to be honest as we saw with Angelica using EA doesn’t seem to be that difficult just point it at a target and watch it disappear )
this is a horrible take before gil shot his weapons he used them like any other person they kill humbaba with their HANDS. they have alluded to it multiple times the gil we have seen in every fate BUT prototype is after enkidu's death a great deal after. this series alone shows that gil knows what a ton of things in his treasury do. and as for him being "Skillless" he has the highest charisma in the verse is fated to be the richest man alive no matter what and has like an A- in str or B as an archer. he literally sword fights saber in og fate stay
@@Dont_care_4_U Going on a tangent, ignore if too long
Except you miss the fact Gilgamesh nerfs himself by default. I don't mean he doesn't try and only halfasses things, he legit shuts off some of his own personal skills and passive noble phantasms like his normally A+ rank divinity that gives him resistance to all Divine authorities, his EX rank Clairvoyance Sha Naqba Imuru that is actually on par with Solomon and in some aspects even better, it is literally Yhwach's Almighty from Bleach.
"Sovereign of Magical Wands" makes him an EX rank Divine magic user and while paired with his clarivoyance, actually makes him a potential Grand Caster candidate.
An EX rank presense concealment that is higher than most if not all assassins servents.
His "Absolute Survive" phantasm (which is still canon for some stupid reason) allows him to survive any fight he "actively" partakes in, no matter how servere the injury.
Two of his "Right of the King" skills both reduces all harmful effects to him in half, both physical and conceptual as well as basically giving him Gojo's Six Eyes from JJK where he will never run out of magical energy.
"Enurta's Ash Oil" ranks up his strength parameter when he is in need, potentially to EX.
All of these skill and noble phantasms are canon to him and are competely busted. He just refuses to use them for what they are worth because they make his life unexciting. He doesn't use things like clairvoyance that would make him omniscience to all possible future timelines in order to be surprised and keep himself guessing.
We call his character stupid and arrogant for falling short of where his strength and abilities should be but we forget that he is a hedonist. He's not looking for the easy path where things go right because he has already seen how things play out, he's looking for the most exciting path just for him.
@@Nekogami04 Except it's not just future sight, he is viewing every possible timeline through his choices. He can actively see into different parrallel worlds offshooted from his based on decisions he chooses. The only difference between Yhwach's and Gilgamesh's clairvoyance is that Gilgamesh can't choose what can and can't happen, he chooses *which* happens.
