Back in the 1970, I have Seiko Bellmatic and few diver watches. All of them Made in Japan. After 40+ years, all I have to do is to shake the watches and it started running again. Amazing....Never Service and still keep perfect time. Seiko is timeless. If I decided to sell those watches especially the Diver watches, I can make much more than I paid for.

I received my Seiko 5 automatic SNKK07 watch from Amazon middle east and I found the made in china sticker on it and also outside of the box can someone explain me is it fake or original??
The real origin of the watch has been marked on the model number of each Seiko watch, such as SPB007J1,SPB007K1,SPB007P1. J1 is packaged by the Japanese original factory, K1 is a mechanical watch produced and packaged overseas, and P1 is a quartz watch and an electric energy watch produced and packaged overseas. There is a line of words on the dial of each watch from 6 o'clock to 7 o'clock, and only MADE IN JAPAN is packaged by the Japanese original factory. Those marked MOV'T JAPAN or MOVEMENT JAPAN only use Japanese movements, in other words, they are assembled and produced overseas. The full model number of the watch, such as SRPD63K1, should be printed on the tag, and the origin can be judged by passing the last two digits. Seiko has factories in China, but we can’t be 100% sure that your watch is genuine after knowing these, you can check with the seller whether they are authorized dealers in your country or just take your watch to check the authenticity.
