So glad to hear you're better. And, OMG, that just so adorable little Pip is with you!!! I love it when you share him with us. A lot of contrast with the ride, open wide paths with meadows and then narrow tight paths amongst the redwoods. Love ya', Aunt Sandee ❤️
Good props for the SC. Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to be able to hit all these trails from just a 10 minute bike ride from my front door. Gota love the Cruz!!!
Always love when you include little Pip in your footage he seems like such a great best friend. Not to mention such a great name for a little guy like him Add
You're looking fresh and relaxed brother, happy to see you healing up after those nasty crashes. If I can keep my insanely busy June schedule I'll be in Santa Cruz the last weekend of this month, super excited. I'm going check whats available at Brookdale Lodge.
That had to be the Enchanted loop trail, such a beautiful transition in person to go from bright and sunny dark and shady at the entrance of the loop. 👌🏾 It's definitely steeper than you would think also lol
rode that loop in april when everything was lush green. every time my brakes squeak, i'd hear wild turkeys calling back. had a lot of fun in enchanted loop, until those consecutive drops and roots bumped my feet off of my pedals and suffered a gash on my shin from my DMR Vault pedals. was riding a hardtail which was probably a mistake now that i think about it. haha
One of my favorite places for a long day in the saddle. Nice lines on Enchanted! That root jump is my favorite feature on that trail, next time you go to Wilder check out Zane gray cut off!
I was riding in Colorado and came up on the hind leg of some baby elk. I'm sure a mountain lion just pulled the body off the trail and left that behind.
Seemed like the rider that came past you at 5:30 on that little jump had a mini cow bell on his bike to alert the MTN lion or other critters he was coming. Good thinking must be a local.
Take out the beat-up jumps and mailboxes is basically an xc loop haha, not to mention the rangers that watch for riders on the exit... Much better trails in the area
For those of you planning to come visit SC. Please be respectful of the local scene as we actually have very few legal trails. Have fun. Don’t geo tag everything and name trails. Don’t roll 30 deep with blue tooth speakers bumping while blowing past hikers. We have had many trails taken out by “authorities” and they will start ticketing when a spot is blown up. Thanks. Enjoy SC.

❤️👍
Rad loop, pretty hard to beat riding through the redwoods 🤙🏼
Yep!
Haven't been down to Wilder in a bit lately...but now I must go. Glad you are enjoying some of the great rides up here in NorCal!
So good!
Have fun out there!
Thanks!

The videos with Pip are always the best. :)

Awesome! Gotta hit the Bigfoot Museum. Looking forward to seeing more.
For sure!!
All the trails you rode I rode 2 wks ago. Good Times.
Nice!
That tail was beautiful. Welcome back and glad your doing good.
Thank you!
Man, This is a beautiful trail. Fantastic video as usual T. Keep. Up the good work.

I Always love a hood wilder ranch ride!!
So fun!
Enjoyed the positive vibes in this video.
I appreciate that
watching this makes me want to hit the trails rn
Nice!
man i wish i were there this month. what a great time to ride SC. maybe go skate Derby and enjoy the rad people
Also, nice hit after the other rider.. really looked smooth.
👍
Go ride Pacifica while you are there. The crack, mile, xxx, Boy Scout will blow your mind. Bring the capra
Next time.
Nice video dude. Welcome our paradise. You should try behind the water towers.
Maybe a Santa Cruz group ride is in the future? Work out a deal with the Brookdale Lodge for lodging.
NOT A BAD IDEA.
Makes sense, since you got a few fans in the area 👍.
Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz is nice, but the Soquel Demonstration Forest next door is World Class flow! (IMHO)
Yep one of my favs.
One of my favorite places for a long day in the saddle. Nice lines on Enchanted! That root jump is my favorite feature on that trail, next time you go to Wilder check out Zane gray cut off!
Will do and thanks!
Glad to hear your recovering ! Nice trail! Is there a beginner section for this trail?
Thanks! Yes most of it is smooth and chill. I put the highlights.

Yikes man!
Glad you’ve recovered from your fall in SLO. Any changes to your protective gear? Curious to know what you’re wearing on these trails. Thanks!!
Thanks! I'm currently testing out some of the new Dainese MTB gear. Feels great!
Where's the capra? Are you reserving it for snow summit?
Depends on the trails of the day.
Seemed like the rider that came past you at 5:30 on that little jump had a mini cow bell on his bike to alert the MTN lion or other critters he was coming. Good thinking must be a local.
these trails are mixed use so i'd use those bells to alert hikers on blind corners. saw a number of them on my ride in april.
Awesome trails brother. What ISO setting to you use. It looked awesome!
I think it's at 1600 but I have to check. Thanks!
Last time I had that view I was on my CBR 900 RR booking about 160MPH On my way back from the 1994 GP at Laguna Seca
Lived and rode up there for 6-1/2 years. Looks like Wilder Ranch....
👍
Nice video, Wilder is a fun ride! Did you also hit up Demo and UCSC while you were there?
Yes I did! Thanks!
@@TheOutsiderMTB next weeks video!
What happened to the original "appreciation station" music?
Still there - just trying some new things.
How could anyone give a video with that dog in it a dislike? Lol.
❤️
You going to hit mailboxes ? I could show you the UC trails I live in the area. We meet each other at the oak knoll last summer.
Take out the beat-up jumps and mailboxes is basically an xc loop haha, not to mention the rangers that watch for riders on the exit... Much better trails in the area
We hit some of the UC trails another day but no filming.
Dude, when you getting a Decoy? That would be the perfect tool for your trips.
Ha agreed. We'll see.
If your still in SC ya gotta try magic carpet
Nope I did Swetness.
Think it’s funny that your sponsored by YT but the last 3 videos have watched of yours have had an ad for intense right before them
Ha that’s RUclips robots. 🤷🏻♂️😬
RIP local trails
Ummmm public trails?
Can we have a 5 minute pupper pip edit?
I'd love that.
@@TheOutsiderMTB also does your wife come along with you on your trips?
No not usually. She had to work.
Come out to the trails off of HWY 9 in Santa Cruz! That’s where all the best trails are at. :)
Are you sponsored by YT
The channel is.
@@TheOutsiderMTB awesome, love the videos just subscribed!! Thx

That's great advice. Everyone should be respectful when visiting trails outside of their local trails.
Yeah I would say that looks like a real nice place to stay I'm definitely gonna stay there next time I'm up that way
You should!
