Excellent presentation. Good to hear someone say nice things about an affordable and functional rower instead of calling it names. Certainly beats the hassle of a two arm rower with a leaky hydraulic cylinder. Thanks.
I’m 70 years old, bought it march 2021 already made more than 500000 rows my challenge is make 2000 rows between 42 to 45 minutes, I recommend it for me is great
Hey that’s great. Hopefully it works out well for you. I still have mine and use it occasionally. I need to get back on track with it. Now I’m glad I didn’t spend a crazy amount on a super nice one seeing as how I haven’t used it as much in the long run. (Just due to laziness!)
Yes I still have it and use it from time to time without issues. I just wish it had a little bit more tension on the max end.. But rowing is also meant to be a cardio type workout as well, so doing enough repetitions still does the trick.
Can you do long 30+ minute workouts at 130-150 heart rate on this machine? Can you also do high intensity with 160+ heart rate and completely out of breath?
I enjoyed your video, it was very informative but I have a couple of questions. Does the tension vary with the speed of the pull and how many pounds is the pull when set at the maximum?
It does seem to vary slightly with the speed of pull. I wish it had a little more tension personally and I use it at max all the time. However, I bought it for some smooth cardio workout and don’t mind doing more repetitions to achieve a good workout. I normally do 250-300 strokes..
I am interested in purchasing this exercise machone .My question to you is Seeing rhat I am a beginner what should I start out with what numbers should i set it at ? And ect.. Thank You for your help .
I’m also a beginner, but I still have mine set to 8. You can easily adjust the resistance with the dial to suit your needs. (I’m in fairly good shape despite being a beginner.) I often wish it had a few more levels of resistance
Wesley ; I have no problem using it, it’s just that new batteries made no difference. I Guess it was discarded cause of the display issue it definitely has. Thanks for your response .

Purchased before watching but your review has set my mind at ease. Thank you!

Wanted this 2 yrs ago now after watching your info I will be rowing in the next 2 days!,,Gracias😊
I hope it's working out for you! I still have mine but need to get back into using it more regularly.
Thanks for the video! Do you still love this rower? I'm recovering from double hip replacement surgeries and need low impact. Is this ideal?

How do you power it down. There is no shut off switch. I thought once it stops running it would automatically shut off, but it doesn’t.
Thank you!
Very helpful, well done review!
Glad it was helpful!
How do you get the control panel to come on? I have new batteries in it and started rowing but nothing os coming on. Thank you!
It should come on automatically. Have you double checked the battery?

@@WesleyAllenNC At 180 I was breaking a sweat
I’m trying to decide between this one and the smart one.

Hey your welcome!
Thank you!
Hey! Your welcome
The machine is ok. It needs more resistance. I am parking mine and getting a concept 2. Sunny is decent for the price but is not for a serious rower.
How do you turn off the monitor? Does it just automatically turn off after some time?
I believe they are set to turn off after a few minutes of non-use. I’ll have to look at mine again later. I can’t recall ever having to turn it off.
Could you explain a little bit about the monitor? I was hoping it would show distance in meters.
great video thank you
Thanks. Your welcome!
a neighbor discarded the one I now have. It apears the board is toast, it doesn't respond much and Is the screen supossed to be back lit?
It’s not backlit, but you should see numeric info on the screen. (It still works without the board though)

Can anyone tell me why mine is so noisy when I pull on the bar
How do you turn the screen on
You may have to install the battery behind the screen. It just pops out and there’s a AA or AAA battery, I can’t recall which
