Yes, you too have paid a great price to help carry the great burdens of others. And you have done it with great grace. Thank you. I'm not used to being useless and or receiving so much!! I was the caretaker to my 89 year old mother, now I'm in need of care going through cancer treatment. Who would ever think? This was a good word to continue in acceptance that we both will learn about Gods grace in receiving and giving.

Oh my what a wonderful message. Also think some elderly parents who are dependent on their children would benefit from this message. Hearing the gift they give to others by letting them meet their needs.

I have felt like a burden at times especially early on after my car wreck and when I came home
I needed to hear this Thankyou. Sometimes I really feel as if I’m burdening my husband and too much. I have recurrent transverse myelitis. And though I not in a wheelchair anymore I have a ton of chronic nerve pain from multiple incomplete spinal cord injuries. When I’m in pain I try to hide it and carry on so none of my family has to feel helpless especially my husband. Thankyou

Thank you Joni, God bless you! It is part of being humble to know that we are not capable of doing everything ourselves and thus need to learn to receive help from God and others. It gives others a chance to be blessed by helping feed, clothe, give drink, visit and care for others, as Jesus described we are doing it unto HIM after all. Many may not have noticeable physical disabilities however we do all have some disabilities of some sort and need help. We must all learn to get rid of pride, not feel ashamed and humbly both receive and give in the ways needed.

I suffer from LUPUS. MY KIDS LEFT ME.... i live alone...unfortunatley . Please PRAY FOR ME AND MY KIDS. I AM 43 YRS OLD . My kids see me as a burden. They are backslidden and both prodigal

Not everyone is so blessed to have people who want to help them. If they do get some help, the helper treats them like they are low on the food chain.

I feel this way sometimes, even though I can bathe myself and get around just fine. Some days I don't feel good and can't do much. But I love my husband so much and praise God for him
