To clarify: I had more than a "few" upsets but chose to minimize my troubles. One was: I started life with bombs dropping around mother as she held me, running to shelters during London attacks from Hitler. I could have said "many" but it is not about me, it is more, much more about Him.
Wow ! What compassion & grace disarming the enemies of shame and gilt ! We confess and repent for each time we have brought ourselves and others down in shame and condemnation ! We break any partnership with them. Help us not to hold to our ego and pride. We make ourselves low and humble before You and men. We can not do anything. But through Christ Who strengthens us we can. In faith We stand up to do all the things You have for us and this earth that You love so much. Thank you Joni, for so much grace and faith, this opened my mind and pierced through my heart. I thank God for you and that you persevere every day for us also. Through you we are stronger and see more clearly and our faith grows. I send you my love from Switzerland

As a 78yrold, yes I have had had a few upsets in life. Your answer is correct: talk to God, then go serve. It onky works 100% of the time!🙏😍
