The moment you started playing with Decapitated, I realized for myself that it IS possible to make a living as a musician in this genre. Before I always thought is was too unrealistic and I tried to do something more "normal" but over time I just realized that there is no other way for me. I am not 100% professional yet but I think I will be in a not-too-far future.

yep. totally agree on the professional musician point. some weeks im out almost every night and earning, some weeks im practically trawling for ANY work. i got house rent, insurance, storage/practice room rent, etc. i rarely ever go out any more because if im not working i have no spare money at all, ive barely been to any concerts at all.
then we have gear maintainance & replacement (when it happens), its a hard life, which most people wont understand, but for me, its so rewarding, getting to do what i love and be paid for it, when i had so many detractors telling me to stop wasting my time and get a "real" job.

Actually, it is better to ask how long does it take him to dry it. Washing takes less time than drying (without damaging hair).

Krimh, you are truly an inspiration and absolute drum god. Please excuse all the morons commenting nonsense on your priceless videos. Please never stop making music. With that said, I have a serious request. I am sure you've heard of Fredrik Thordendal, or perhaps even met him. Meshuggah has always been really badass both on the guitar and drums, and I'm sure if you were to do a project with Fredrik it would combine the best of both worlds. I would really like to see your tech/black metal style integrated into Fred's Djent/Mechanical guitar style. Both of you are in Europe, so I imagine it wouldn't be too terribly difficult to get in contact with each other, aside from your busy schedules. Please consider this, and keep gracing the world with badass drumming.

SK-Drums yes it's a selfmade noise canceling board. I put a mix of cut in half tennis balls and rubber for washing machines. So far neighbours didn't complain but it really depends also on your flat. Sometimes the floor is very thin.

Have you ever had triceps issues from playing blast beats? I developed some tendonitis in my left triceps after playing a lot of blasts because my left arm has to be tighter and work harder to keep up since it's weaker than my right, so it ends up being more tense. Over time, the tense tendon was then easily damaged when working out. Do you do any particular warm ups or cool downs to protect your tendons before or after playing? Especially since you hit with a lot of power even when playing fast. Thanks! Your playing and videos were what got me serious about playing drums around 2012, I used to practice along to Destroy Replace Create all the time but haven't been able to play hard for quite a while :/ I got a lot of my style from you, including the swivel technique and saw you play live a couple times.
