Don't worry about scratches. People will be too busy picking up their jaws, seeing that lovely lump in there. Just found this lad's videos, and I'm enjoying them a lot.love the build, and the colour looks great.good luck.
Looks cracking that Jordan, and as much as you might obsess over a "glaring error" here and there, all normal folk will be seeing the whole project in admiration, not picking fault. And we both know - those that wanna pick fault can just do one... 👍
Exactly that, although I always tend to pick the known faults just so others can't pick fault :) Either way I don't care, should still be a nice machine
Don't keep knocking your work you're doing a great job.
Can't wait to see that lump go back in. Really enjoyable project Jordan.

From a fellow cornish capri, that looks epic.
Thank you
Well done! Keep it up!
Great work once again. Once the engine is back in it should be plain sailing....
That's the hope! Thank you
Great job mate. Coming along nicely. 🧡
Cheers, slow and steady
You Got there in The End.
Yup looking good and good luck with the business ,you should show it all could be a good advertisement for you cheers
Thank you, think I will
Engine bay colour looks like what Ford called Signal Amber. Was a blinding combination with the black S decals and vinyl roof.
Looking good mate. Hope that laquer doesn't peel over time as you let the base dry out then laquered it 😬
Cheers, it was only around 14 hours, 8 layers worth. From memory the basecoat has a recoat window of 24 hours :)
@RoughRestos That's good then mate. Looks better now though. Will look good once the engine is in 👍
would a carbon MK1\MK2 escort heat bowl work if you trimmed it to fit? you could make it removeable with nutserts and rubber weather stripping
Might well do, good idea
