Blender is transforming into what i imagined in the 2000s. An operating system designed solely from nodes being programs with inputs/outputs like Blender allowing you to conceive the idea of creating your own applications with almost no code. Allowing for a sound card for example to direct the sound to one or more outputs of the sound card, or even put several inputs on each output of a sound card visually.
Please make this a series this is actually very useful
yeah I heard about serpens but haven't seen much about it before so this is absolutely great! I'd love to see more
I would like to see more in depth tutorials for this. Pie menus with custom buttons, columns, etc. More on integrating menus into side bars. Or how about viewport customization, like create a toggle to split the viewport window in half for complex modelling etc

Can you make an addon that access a geometry node that you make?
I am wondering the same thing. The Blender Market description says it is possible to integrate with GeoNodes but no detailed information anywhere
I can't believe how fast can someone get using blender with this addon yeah you still need to put in the work but as simple as deleting half the model exit edit mode add mirror merge get back and set scale 0 can get you a long way 😂

I'm pretty sure it's not his brain, he just speeds up his videos, or I'm stupid, which is a valid option as well.
I will say this. For me it was easier to code in python. For example I made a simple addon that deletes the world shader nodes for HDRI's. I have a directory set in the addon that reads all the HDRI in that directory then a drop down menu that lists them all. I click on 1 it creates my nodes, hooks them up spreads them out and gives me control in my addon over rotation and intensity. I tried to recreate this simple setup in serpens and gave up. The python way was far more logical and not only that.... it took me an hour to code if that. Serpens took me hours and I finally gave up posted in discord and we will see if that gets a reply....
