    If Darnold is able to play to 75% of his true potential under KOC for the beginning of the season, then whatever rookie QB they draft will really have to *EARN* their spot. This years OTAs should be fun👌🏽

      He's a lot more mobile then cousins &strong arm decent accuracy , but good at escaping and still looking & finding receivers down field , better then Dobbs , Mullins, hall easily, but they should just use #11 pick for QB there's plenty of elite QBs to draft , then get a OL center, vikes have never decided to trade up into the top 10 draft picks , I don't expect them to change that. Getting a expensive QB isn't smart .

      I don’t know how the Vikings offense is but if it’s balanced then he will be good. But if you ask him to go out there throw 30-40 passes he’s going to make mistakes. Go watch his 2022 season highlights. It’ll give you some hope. I think he had the highest Yards per pass average through the games he played that season. Only real WR he had that year was DJ Moore. Ok. After watching the highlights of this young man's skills, It's official. With his athleticism, and ball placement, some good judgment passes by SD, coupled with Minnesota's current BF defense, and if KOC will allow this young man to play his game, and with some strong, aggressive play calling from the Vikings sideline winning or losing... Vikings Fans could be seeing Round Two of Three Deep, in Hockenson, Jefferson, & Addison. One can only dream. So this year KOC, don't play football to barely win, or scared playing calling, because you have a lead. Go out and ball out fully no holds barred for 60 mins. Even if the score was 32 to 3, favor against us in the 4 with 10 mins left to play. Everyone is paid millions to play hard. So play hard. I'm sure regular folk would be fired, if they decided to work partially every week. You're a pro team paying players million to play football for 3 hrs/60 mins. Give us that this 2024 season.

I expect him to play extremely well, beat season maybe he's ever had but there's a lot of work to do, and the interior line needs to get solved. But yea excited for the year and the draft. • @ragethevictorious3060
    @ragethevictorious3060 7 месяцев назад +4

    Darnold to Robbie Anderson was a of a combination. Signing Darnold was a great pick up for Minn, he's Cousins esque with more elusiveness, playing with a chip on his shoulder and 500 million dollars cheaper. I truly believe he's going to be much more then just a bridge gap qb, he's going to compete and make it hard for the new qb, whoever that may be, to get on the field. Which is a win win, the new young qb of the future will get time to hold the clipboard and learn instead of getting thrown into the fire. Vikes will still be a playoff contender and be a force in the north. Haven't been this excited for my Vikes in a long time. Now to the draft and let Kwesi and KOC do their magic. I know it's unorthodox but my pick for qb has always been Bo Nix, i can still see it happening on top of getting another top 20 playmaker on defense. It's just my crystal ball inception, i think everything else is smokescreen so we can reel teams into moving up so Bo is still there at 11. I know i know I'm crazy, but wait until draft day... you'll see. SKOL!

They will rely heavily on the defense to help carry this year

    • @robe2504

      They might not have to give up a haul. The competition has fallen away and teams like the Chargers will not want to trade with division rivals Raiders or Broncos. Also with Darnold on board they may not have to force the pick.
      Also consider that they will probably have two 3rd round Comp picks next year to help them move, and that they will have a lot of cap space next year to spend in FA if they do use some of next years picks to move up this year.
