After heavy use, the three issues I have run into with the Trilogy are: 1. Replace spring cages. 2. Replace motor. 3. Had one that "lost its brain". Did a factory reset and reprogrammed it and it was fine. For the small price difference I would stick with the Trilogy. And like you mentioned, parts availability could be an issue with the LSDA.

I have plenty of people who need an alarm lock type product, But maybe at a 300 SERIES leever quality... Id never use this on any real commercial application. But it would be nice to offer something similar instead of crappy residential grade products.
Exactly what I was thinking. At a better price point this is a great option for higher traffic residential/lower traffic commercial situations that don't want the commercial look/bulkiness of the Trilogy. But at that price point they've completely taken themselves out of that market.
