Hack I use- take a flashlight and shine it through the bore on the opposite side of the door. Will line up your template perfectly

After heavy use, the three issues I have run into with the Trilogy are:
    1. Replace spring cages.
    2. Replace motor.
    3. Had one that "lost its brain". Did a factory reset and reprogrammed it and it was fine.
For the small price difference I would stick with the Trilogy. And like you mentioned, parts availability could be an issue with the LSDA.

Nice info Jason, yep at least 1/2 inch on that wire hole, I’d prefer 9/16 even 5/8 maybe. 👍🏻✅🌹

if it was a greater price difference. I could see this being a good option for people with Airbnb or something like that, where you need a "better than residential" but not as beefy as an alarm lock. I have plenty of people who need an alarm lock type product, But maybe at a 300 SERIES leever quality... Id never use this on any real commercial application. But it would be nice to offer something similar instead of crappy residential grade products.

Exactly what I was thinking. At a better price point this is a great option for higher traffic residential/lower traffic commercial situations that don't want the commercial look/bulkiness of the Trilogy. But at that price point they've completely taken themselves out of that market.

Great video, but I'll stick with Trilogy. I install about 20 a year, very little issues.

Gosh that sounds rough. I bet that would echo through a building. I wonder if all of them sound like that.

Thats sounds so bad. Id never sell or install anything that sounds like. My clients would never go for that at all.
