My God they were great days. Brings back so many memouries. Camping at Brands, wandering through the pits in the evening watching the mechanics. Ferrari boys eating their pizzas on the side pods.Just magical. James having a few beers after the race. What a difference today.
Might have missed it, but didn't catch Tom Pryce? I was lucky enough to interview Sir Jackie Stewart (taped not in person sadly) who categorically stated that Tom would have been world champion had he survived that awful crash in Kyalami. Great footage and a real pleasure to watch.
I think the only driver you didn't caught on film is Derek Bell with the Surtees. Apart from him you seem to have everyone. Even those who just appeared in this race during practice only and who can not be seen in any of the professional reviews. What a treasure! Thank you for sharing!
I have done thousands of laps of Brands over the years and watched many races from the mid 60s to date, it's still my favorite circuit (and nearest) for me since Crystal Palace closed in the early70s.
From the days when all the car marque's looked totally different from one another. My first gp visit was Silverstone 77, first race of the Renault RS 01 turbo, great day out , horrendous Q to leave the circuit.🤣
a miracle, thank you.
Thank you so much for posting this, it was the first Grand Prix l attended and my first visit to Brands. Great footage.

There are several shots of Tom in his UOP Shadow and a shot in the paddock of his car with his name on the side. Thanks for your comments.
Great footage! cool seeing Ronnie Peterson footage, one of my favourite drivers!
Exceptional footage, thank you very much for posting.

Great video! 👍👍
Seeing a number of my old Top Trumps cars in that footage. The Ferrari was the best weapon to have in one's hand. Lotus 72 not far behind and Brabham.
I woz there.
