For anyone feel old don't worry this is what google has to say about it Typically, the term retro is given to items which are at least 20 years old (but not yet 40 years old). The standard use for Retro Gaming has been 20 years. Like the NES, which was only 21 years old when the Wii was new. Now the 360 is 18 years old. So, two more years and it's hitting the same age as the NES was when everyone called it 'Retro'

The 360 and PS3 don't feel as retro, because they had one of the longest console cycles. Usually consoles only go for 5 years before a replacement The 360 went 8 years before the One was released.

7:25... sigh I had this whole speech, 2 paragraphs long about the perfect gift ideas... and internet died so comment is gone... yes soaps work too, candles, chocolates BUT make sure they're different each time, mix it up, otherwise might be lazy if you just gave her the same chocolates on Valentines day as her birthday. Same with flowers, learn flower language for at least 3-5 flowers, so you can mix it up for your lady. Plushies there's 1000+ Pokemon along with alternate forms like Deoxys, or regionals like Alolan Ninetails. Girls like soft cuddly things a lot.
Guys are not that difficult yes, and I agree more often than not good food works... however alcohol does not work at least for me, I hate bitter stuff tongue sensitive to it, thus I taste the alcohol in all alcoholic beverages no matter what it is. Only exception I've found is fruity stuff caaaan work, but shakes are the best alternative. Especially at this Irish bar, I had what was basically an alcoholic shamrock shake, awesome. Then I experimented and found other flavors that can work especially for seasonals, like Pumpkin, strawberry or cherry for February, chocolate and strawberry to mimic a choco covered straw is surprisingly good as an alcoholic shake, like 5 different Christmas ones... woops sorry went off topic a bit too much, point is alcohol doesn't always work, and food might not either. Neither will practical gifts, in this modern era boys probably wouldn't like a wrench or a fishing pole like my dad or grandparents would've wanted, video games are the way to go. Gift cards ehh some guys might be ok then they can get what they want... but sensitive guys no... which is why girls should get into gaming more. You got basic games like Uno or Monopoly, Clue based off card and board games that anyone can get into even a girl. Thus a way for girls to become basic gamers, but secretly this is a way to friend your partner especially on a platform such as Steam where the wishlist is easily accessible and games can be gifted. Especially someone like me who has over 800 games on their wishlist, buy 1-3 games you're golden, if you understand there is a package deal, such as the Crash Bandicoot collection, or one of Steam's many sales (such as currently there is a capcom sale, you could buy say all 5 Dead Rising games for under 30$, all the mega mans, resident evils, monster hunters, etc).
Thus I reveal the secrets to eternal gifts for all men and fair ladies... enjoy... also some men do like cleanliness too, I do like candles, and soap is nice, but that still wouldn't be a decent gift for a man, because it's too simple and easy. A man that likes clean things will go out of his way for clean stuff, thus being too simple even though men like simple things.
