I had a problem with my hose staying in place when I filled my freshwater tank too. Used an old fresh water hose to fix the problem. Cut the hose about 6" - 8" (maybe less) from the end that screws onto your other hose (female connector). Screw that piece on your hose, and gently place the hose inside the fill port. I then can run around and do whatever else I need to. I use the "scientific method" of hearing the gurgling and air escaping from the vent to know when I'm getting close to being full.

I think you will find that the larger diameter hose will give you higher pressure than a smaller hose. The pressure reduces as the flow increases. If you can supply the amount of water faster it will result in less pressure loss. A larger diameter hose will give you a greater flow, therefore more pressure. I hope this helps. I really love your videos.

Marc, I saw you turning off the water before leaving the campsite and thought of something we have in our yard - hose valves! We actually use ours on the hoses for watering the lawn, but you could easily use one at the faucet and just turn the valve 1/4 turn and the water is off. Makes it a lot easier than turning a faucet on and off. You would want to shop a bit to get the valve you want, brass or plastic, and the opening in the valve you would like.

FYI that error is reasonably common, I had it as well. Caused by the rear spring hangers being loose and the rear axle shifting so you end up dog tracking. Once you drive straight for a bit turning it “centres” again.
Go under the truck and check your rear spring U-Bolts - mine were hardly 30-40FT Lbs and should be nearly 200
Tighten u-bolt nuts in 4 stages using a cross pattern.
    Stage 1 - 48 lb-ft (65 Nm)
    Stage 2 - 96 lb-ft (130 Nm)
    Stage 3 - 148 lb-ft (200 Nm)
    Stage 4 - 195 lb-ft (265 Nm)

Wow you really did alot of exploring! I stayed at The Old Shipyard Beach Campground in NS and loved the serenity! Then stayed by the water at PEI, saw the bottle houses and found the singing sands! Beautiful country❣ What's a dandelion taste like😂😂😂😂

With you adaptive steering issue your first test needs to be on the batteries and alternators if your truck has two alternators one may have gone bad and you will not notice other than a few minor hiccups here and there like the steering wheel being crooked it happened to my truck (2017 ford f350 platinum)

For my 5/8" hose I use an "old school" brass nozzle - you know, the one you have to twist to make it flow? - It fits perfectly into the fresh water opening and stays there!.
I bought the electric pump you showed, and noticed it is not for potable water, but I did drink from my garden hose as a kid and I'm still alive, so I will still use the pump anyway - I noticed you removed it.

In PEI Cabot provincial park is awesome you can get canpsights on the bluff amazing views. Don’t miss the Kayleigh’s good old fashioned kitchen parties that are put on in various communities.

Caleb is so funny ! Great episode. So much fun to see you travel to some of the same places that we’ve been.
The greatest part is “and there’s still more to come “.
Thank you so much for sharing.❤️

We often go to Advocate Harbour to visit my husband’s daughter and our grandkids. We stay at Old Shipyard Beach Campground. It’s about 40 min further from Glooscap Campground. It’s so beautiful in this area. It’s been left mostly untouched. I’m glad you were able to enjoy the area.
