You should try See it from another insiders perspective as well tho. Mr. Farage is very good rethoricly, but that doesn‘t necessarily mean he is right. I live in the EU as well and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to leave it. There is much criticism that I have for the EU institutions, but I don’t think that we Europeans are off any better when we abandon the EU and everyone tries for himself, since then China and the US will dictate what happens in this world. Some tasks can’t even be performed by a state alone like defence or border security. So the only way for the Europeans to have a voice and to have a stable environment is the European Union.
The defence of Europe could be handled through other means such as a treaty system like NATO. All the nations of NATO cooperate militarily and they don't belong to a "North Atlantic Union". Combined the nations of Europe can field the third largest military force in the world, and they really wouldn't need anything beyond a NATO like system to accomplish it.
the only problem : only to European nation have an army which is able to do war : France and UK. The other Europeans countries have not a real army. So the EU is here to give us a economical weight and it is not so bad

I am a Conservative and support Brexit and all but even I can see Britain is nothing more than a satellite state of the United States which is why they refused to join the European Union. Makes sense because the default British strategy in case of war consists of hiding in their island, keeping a large fleet of warships to prevent the enemy from landing in their lands so they won't have to fight (like men) and then the most important part, BEG the United States (Britain's historic boyfriend) to please come fight for them and save them; that's what they did in the two world wars. That's why they've made so much of the battle of Trafalgar when, in real-life, it had a little practical immediate effect and Napoleon barely sighed when receiving the news. But the British keep celebrating that victory because fighting on sea is all they can do, whenever they fight at land they get their sorry asses kicked even against "inferior" enemies such as Elphinstone's army in Afghanistan, Isandlwana, the American revolutionary war, Dunkirk, the Jews at Palestine, the Dutch at Medway (after which the British lost their fleet which meant their island was open to invasion after which they panicked and surrendered ending the war rather than fighting like men), Buenos Aires (twice), Majuba (against the Boers, where a bunch of Boer farmers and boys defeated professional British soldiers killing 285 British and capturing 59 while losing only 1 Boer and ending the Boer War in one stroke) and Singapore, among many many others; and the only victories they've had have been by surprise attacks (such as the battle of the River Plate), ambushes (just like they did at the battle of Jutland or Cape Matapan) or by using overwhelming numbers (like they did with the Bismark: in the first encounter two German ships, including the Bismarck, fought against three British ships which included the most powerful British ship, the HMS Prince of Wales, known as "the pride of the Royal Navy", the Bismarck alone defeated the three British ships and easily destroyed the HMS Prince of Wales, after which the British fled and only came back in overwhelming numbers, sending 12 ships against the Bismarck; this situation also happened in the naval battles of Narvik in World War II when the Royal Navy attacked the German warships off Narvik, when the Germans counterattacked the British quickly fled losing almost half of its ships, but the Royal Navy would only come back with overwhelming numbers: twice as many ships the Germans had, then and only then would they "avenge" their defeat at Narvik), that's why the British can could never fight on equal numbers, they're only brave at sea and only with overwhelming numbers on their side. That's why in Corunna they used their favorite tactic: be defeated and escape by sea (the same one used in Dunkirk). Also, they have no problem whatsoever betraying their allies if it furthers its interests such as when they bombarded Copenhagen even though Denmark was not at war with Britain (they did this to destroy the Danish fleet so Napoleon couldn't use it just in case Napoleon conquered Denmark, or when the French surrendered in World War II and the British demanded the French hand over all of their ships to them (they were terrified that that Hitler could use them to invade Britain) and when the French refused the British immediately forgot about their erstwhile "allies" and attacked the French fleet by surprise at Mers-el Kebir or when they betrayed the Portuguese (their oldest allies with whom they'd maintained an alliance treaty since 1386) by sending them an ultimatum in 1890 demanding them to evacuate some of their African colonies and once they did they quickly moved to occupy those areas just so the British could have a continuous land connection between South Africa and Egypt or during the Seven Years War: the British always seek a powerful ally with a powerful land army (as the British are too cowardly to fight like men) to protect them and fight for them and the United States didn't exist yet so they tricked Prussia into joining them and paid the Prussians to fight on the continent in their place but as soon as the British attained their goals in the other theaters of the war they immediately forgot about their Prussian "allies" and suddenly stopped the cash flow to Prussia and abandoned them just at the height of the war, leaving the Prussians to their own devices to fight alone against France, Austria and Russia, almost resulting in the destruction of Prussia, something every country in Europe took note of; or in Norway during World War II where the British arrived to assist the Norwegians against the Germans but fled after several humiliating defeats by numerically inferior German forces, in this case the British fled in secret leaving their Norwegian "allies" behind and without telling them they were going to flee. During the Napoleonic Wars, the British were at their worst, paying others to fight for them, causing the Emperor of Austria to say "The English are flesh traffickers, they fight others to fight in their place", while Napoleon said the British were "a people of cowardly marine merchants".

Joe with the flow tbh it is very similar America wanted to leave because they wanted to run their own country the UK voted to leave the EU so they could run their own country while circumstances are different the reasons are very similar
There have been three treaties since we joined this club in 73, every one of those took us further into this shit without the people ever getting a say on the matter, Cameron was shitting himself over UKIP's rise in popularity so to remove that party from the equation he offered the referendum thinking the country was brainwashed enough, he made the wrong bet. However the real reason was that in our common law of this land the PEOPLE ARE SOVEREIGN, and not parliament nor the monarchy have the power to give this country to foreign rule/power outside time of war (defeat) and due to the wording of the Lisbon treaty with regard to any country wanting to leave the club would need the permission of every other member state which in effect would remove our sovereignty he had no other choice but to put the vote to the people. Both sides lied throughout the campaign but the people here decided they preferred being a sovereign nation rather than a tit for the EU to suckle at, hence BREXIT, glad you think having your own nation is hilarious so which tin pot are you from.

Qasem Imad The idea of multiple governments governing citizens from countries they themselves haven’t lived in being a bad thing, Westminster is very England centric, so the laws they impose don’t always take into account the unique needs and wants of Scots, Scotland currently has a holyrood, Westminster and the Brussels imposing laws. So to paraphrase the buffoon in the video “if one big government is bad, imagine 3 big governments, bureaucracy x3!!”
Itchy Bum “other countries of Scotland” ???? Scotland is more linked to Ireland by blood and culture than it is to England, Ireland is in the EU so you’re not exactly being truthful. I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about, the only reason Scotland is linked to England economically is because England has been using the Scottish economy to subsidise their own for centuries. An independent Scotland’s economy would be 25% larger than the current economy of Scotland.
It really is upsetting when facts are being distorted and only one side of the argument is being shown. EU doesn't make laws out of thin air. The law regarding why UK should catch only a certain amount of fish per year is because if left unchecked, we'll run out of fish in no time. Fish are not infinite. Rate at which we catch fish needs to be only high enough to allow the fish to reproduce so that their populations can stay sustainable and so that we can feed ourselves for longer, and not run out within a few years. Also, it would be more accurate if someone less biased was to give a speech on EU. Having Nigel Farage (the face of Brexit) tell us about the EU is the same as having Kim Jung Un give a speech on democracy and the American values.

So because his parents paid for his education (on top their taxes that funds the state system) and because he worked hard to get a high paying and complicated job in banking, he is now not allowed to talk about his fellow citizens? (The British working man, as if those people working 12 hour shifts in insanely complex jobs in the City are suddenly no longer British working men). We are all citizens of this country and we all have free speech to comment on the state of this country.
There's more to this than meets the eye. This is not just about restoring our sovereignty and the right to decide our own destiny, but also our desire to preserve our own national identity. The purpose of the Treaty of Lisbon was to bring about a single European state with a single governing body. The aim was to dissolve all national governments and rid all 28 states of their individual identities in favor of a single EU government. The former states would then become 'provinces' of that state and subservient to the EU as the Federal body. This mirrors the United States in some ways - which was intentional. The individual states of the Union are all subservient to the Federal Government in Washington DC, but it is Federal State that makes laws which govern the entire country. The people of Europe are currently undergoing a degree of homogenisation. This is partially because the Freedom of Movement allows citizens of one member state to live and work in another member state. This is further complicated by the fact that there is a great deal of illegal migration from the Middle East and Africa. These migrants have brought their own customs and religion with them and expect (under EU law) to be able to retain these. The EU is attempting to force some of their member states to accept these illegal migrants to prevent any individual member from being swamped. Only many states within the EU have experience of invasions by other ethnic groups in the past and are reluctant to let their national identity be changed. This will eventually lead to more states desiring to leave the EU. The United Kingdom wanted to retain our own sovereignty, to set our own laws and have our own accountable Government. The EU would have forced Britain to dissolve our own Parliament, dismissed our Monarch and forced us to accept EU laws written by faceless bureaucrats with no accountability at the point of the guns of the EU Army. We have chosen to exert our right to be free to chose our own destiny and not to be forced to accept what others demand of us. We saved Europe from tyranny three times in two centuries and our example may allow others to free themselves from the cruelty of despotic masters.
To Wot above: As an American I agree with your assessment. Our republic ceased to be free when the US set up the Federal Reserve bank, which is not Federal, and not American. It buys and prints our money and sells it back to us at interest. And with creation of the FBI, CIA, NSA and other multi-agencies, our politicians have little say over our faceless bureaucrats and hence the Trump election: the one who is fighting it and showing also the link with the media. It is the first time that I have been hopeful in 4 decades. Up until than it was usually choosing the lesser of two evils, or: do I want Syphillus or Gonohrea? Actually I don't want either until our last Presidential election.
Many outside America did not comprehend that President Trump won the election, not just because he was not Hillary, but because he offered a way to fight back against the oppression of the Deep State. As you say, the Federal Bank is neither Federal or American, but owned by Globalists and that's not the only Institution that has been 'Infected' (for want of a better word) by the Deep State. The Russian Collusion scandal was the Deep State's attempt to rid themselves of a President that was a threat to them. The very fact that the Impeachment was by a whistleblower - also a Deep State operative - shows that they've not given up on their attempts to wrest back control. The parallel with the United Kingdom and Brexit is that the EU financed many political groups in the UK to attempt to stage a Coup and reverse the Brexit decision. They did this through Parliament and the Courts and nearly succeeded, but now they've been foiled and it will backfire on them. My only hope is that America re-elects the President to finish the job he started. America is booming. Americans are getting rich again. The list of Presidential candidates and their rhetoric is extremely disappointing. Let's hope that the Deep State are purged from the US by a President who recognises that America was being controlled by people who did not have America's interests at heart.
@@WOTArtyNoobs Yes, yes, yes. I had a list of the Globalists. Trump was the only one not on it. This next election will determine the fate of America and of the world. If Trump loses it is Game over. The people naively think that they can start a civil war and replay the American revolution. What they don't realize is that UN troops will be called in (Cubans, Turks, Chinese, Somalians, etc) to brutally put down any insurrection because US troops will not fire on their own people and that is the many reason why the US and British troops have been involved in endless wars abroad... to keep them out of the picture.

There is NO reason why increased cooperation and trade should be predicated upon becoming part of a United States of Europe and being ruled from Brussels by a load of out of touch bureaucrats.
This exact argument could be used to support all 50 US States becoming 50 seperate countries. Why should DC dictate how people across all 50 states live? It would also work for disbanding the United Kingdom into its 4 constituent countries.
US states are not nations you fool. America has 300 years tops of history. Mostly thanks to the French and British. France has 1500 years as a state. England more than 1000 years. It can't be compared.
In a democratic vote, we voted to leave the EU. While I personally voted remain, I respect the outcome. But let's not forget that those on the Brexit bandwagon, even Farage himself, jumped ship after the vote. Farage resigned from UKIP, Boris Johnson and Michael Gove didn't push for leadership of Parliament, so now we have Theresa May, who was initially a remainer, leading negotiations for our exit.
Joe McKenzie I think Britain has been transformed into a nation of sheep far removed from the great country it once was. Thank God we have Trump here in the USA who will ensure that America will never bend to any other nation.
Corvette Dude a superpower only can be having allies and with trump your exterior policy is a mess, in most of Europe common people see trump as a joke and USA no longer an innovative country superpower, most of the trade reforms he is doing are only good in short term and are book case of mercantilism wich always fails in longrun
You don't seem to understand how the political system works then if you think that boris and Michael just gave up. If you don't have the backing of the party to support you as leader you don't have a chance and I personally think that the conservatives made the worst decision by making Teresa may prime minister
Fer blancart if the USA is not the world’s Superpower then why did Rocket Man ask for a meeting with Trump? North Korea did not ask to speak to the president of the EU, UK or Germany did he.
Lol jumped ship? Farage had gotten the result hed been campaigning for for almost 20 years. That massive sense of relief obviously spurred him to resign
I was ineligible to vote in the referendum but would not have hesitated to vote 'Leave'. The more I learn about the ambitions, unaccountability and record of the EU and the Commision the more I am against it. How could the manufactured migrant crisis happen? It took the stripping of national sovereignty and overt threat of retaliation from Brussles to enable this catastrophe. And Britain will not be the last to abandon it's membership- you can count on that. Thank god.
How could the manufactured migrant crisis happen you ask? Very simple - USA needs Europe in its camp to fight the Russians and the Chinese. Problem is, USA is already 40% non-white and is fast departing from traditional western values. Unless Europe follows suite, we risk becoming culturally different and losing our great alliance. So dear cousins, we need you to become more diverse, and fast.
@Tucson Jim The national language of Ireland is English though, and it has given us Irish people an advantage for decades now, Irish people wouldn't be successful if we still spoke Irish, speaking English opens Irish people up to get a job in any other English speaking country, English is the most widely spoken language on Earth (when taking second language speakers into account, not just natives) Why wouldn't we want to speak English? It's an advantage, we are forced to learn Irish in school, yet still hardly anyone can speak it. Why? Because hardly any Irish people care about Irish, it's a dead language, and should be taught in history classes, not language classes.
This is absurd because you didn't make the agreement for Schengen so you had Borders in the past right? I mean it's the same situation because the flow od migrants outside EU isn't going ti stop, and why instead Germans like Ross Kemp said had ti face much more request of asyluum seekers than uk? Ekaterina S lmao eu is a communist organization. They’re aiming to literally overthrow current social norms and control everyone’s life. I think it’s feasible to want out and run the country the way your people want it and maybe even have a chance at a decent level of freedom rather than some blokes in brussels that haven’t ever done anything good give it a shot. Note they’re also trying to make the eu one country with the sole purpose of standing up to the US and China. A good trade deal with the US is better than anything with the eu. Germany in fact need us, they rely on car exports here whilst we sell jack to them.
@@ludvighauger5044 The economies certainly aren't better, look at the mediterranean countries and which all blame the EU and Germany for their plight. I never understand why the EU wants to pull out of NATO which has been remarkably effective at dealing with Russia/Soviet Union for the duration of the cold war and beyond. And even if the EU did start an army who would pay for it? One thing that annoys the Americans is that France and Germany refuse to spend any money on their military, so it'snot coming from them, and the other countries in the EU haven't got any money at all to spend on anything. And let's just say an army is cobbled together, who would lead it? You just know that the French would demand that privilege, but would other countries? And what language would be used to communicate amongst all the different nationalities? As far as the free movement of people is concerned it is EU countries that have, and continue to, put up the greatest barriers against free movement, whether that is France and Germany blocking free movement in the 2003 Eastern European accession or various countries today throwing up barriers against refugees (and ironically the only country never to do so was the UK).

I hope that Nigel's dream of prosperous, free and fair trade (4:46) will come true. That's why I don't understand why UK's negotiating the access to the common EU market. WTO free trade rules would be enough for this dream to become real.
Ok thats what you think but I (one 18 year old Student from germany) the only thing which Brexit achieve is that Europe and especially Britain will lose their global impact and that's only because some rich elites in the UK wants to profit from that... Look at Nigel Farage in the newspaper süddeutsche zeitung there have been reports which show 10 people who profit from Brexit and on the top 3 was mr. Farage... I hope you think twice before you damage Europe and Britains economy and the people who will suffer the most from Brexit... Not the elite... Sry for the bad English
@@georgforster8114 Your English is fine and I appreciate there are many in Europe including here in the UK with a different perspective. I would say though that the rich elite is much more represented by the globalists and pro-EU lobby than the brexiteers. We see it also in France where the gilets jaunes are attacked by the might of the establishment. Remember too the newspapers tend to be the voice of the establishment and put a very one sided slant. Most UK papers are also pro remain. Britons never voted to be part of a United States of Europe which is what we are close to with the Lisbon treaty. We voted only to be in a trading block, the Common Market. The EU imo is very authoritarian for instance insisting on freedom of movement which translates to mass immigration. In my experience the bigger the organization the less it cares about the little guy or woman and that certainly seems to apply to the EU. It is 'the project' uber alles. However Angela Merkel sounded a bit more conciliatory yesterday. Hopefully she is being genuine because a deal is preferable to everyone and the issue of the backstop seems a little contrived to me.
I know I would make a better prime minister than those bureaucrats in the EU, and I am a native born American studying Computer Science and Programming. Why? Because I have one thing that most bureaucrats lack: strong, unwavering MORALITY.
Tucson Jim When is morality the same as honesty? As humans, we all lie. But morality is something you have or do not have as it comes from having a conscience. I would throw myself on the line if I could save someone else. I believe abortion is murder and there is always another option that will save both moms and babies I believe that bullying is wrong. I believe that no one should die or be ostricied because they were practicing free speech (looking at you, feminists).
Tucson Jim Not once did I say I was a princess not do I think I am, it is just a username that stuck with me since my first online account that my mom made in attempt of making a username that was easy to remember and not taken. I kept it out of sameness and routine and is irrelevant. I think of myself as a fugly, disabled piece of shit actually. I was called ugly and retarded my whole life. Now, if we lack morality, how many humans have you killed and did not feel anything afterwards? Do you find it easy to pull a gun on someone and shot them point blank? Are you apathetic towards those commercials that display abused animals? Don't lie now. I would feel intense remoarse, even if I was forced to kill. I would fall apart and cry if I even thought of shooting anything that walked and breathed. I always feel tears start when the abused animal commercials come on. I want to give all the abused animals love and comfort. I do this in the middle of PetsMart whenever I go there. I want to take them home so much. Now. Would I kill in a war? Not intentionally and if I did, I would loathe myself more than I do now if I don't commit suicide to punish myself for my own sins. I hate myself for all the mistakes I have made and I hate myself every time I hurt someone. If you knew me in real life, you would see the amount of times I say sorry and as for forgiveness from those I hurt. I cry when I just hear about others being hurt and I want to be there to help. I know I am not war material. I would crumbled apart under severe stress from my anxiety and be one of the first ones killed. I do not have the mental capacity to be a soldier. I am too emotional. Also, I know I have lied. Why? Because I know I am human. Humans lie. I know the original sin. I did not bring up religion, but I will say it, I am a practicing Christian. I have a Bible and I know what the conscience's biblical name is. The Holy Spirit. It is in the Bible. Just read the New Testament. And by your own logic you are a pathological liar. You resort to name calling. That is an ad hominem. You do not have a sound argument, so you are resorting to attacks directed towards me personally. I am sorry, but your argument just doesn't stand up well when you use ad hominems.
This man is a BEAST of Freedom!!! History will show he’s the greatest Brit since Churchill Edit: without spilling ONE drop of blood British or otherwise
I picked up on something important that he said early on, when he stated, "I don't like it when faceless bureaucrats make laws for nations they don't even live in." It occurs to me that this actually applies to every nation in the world, and every citizen of every nation worldwide. Here's what I mean, every national leader, every Senator, every Congressman, every member of any lawmaking body in the world, makes decisions and laws that impacts every citizen except themselves because those lawmakers do not really live among the citizenry -- they live apart and above them. No public official ever really "lives in" the territory they rule.
Exactly! Why should the affairs of Tampa be subject to a politician from West Virginia, or even Tallahassee? Perhaps we’d be served better if we broke up into a collection of city-states and communes. I’m being sarcastic, btw. Farage, and the ex-pm Boris Johnson, omit that laws written up by the EU affect all member states; or the fact that Scotland voted to remain in the EU, but they were pulled out by London.
In the times where the brexit vote was still coming up I really much hated Farage. But now that he brings up some reasonable arguments, I can't help but kinda agree. Either way, the next year is gonna be interesting. - Greetings from Munich.
I think that stands to be corrected as "the next few years". Even here as an American in America, things are getting interesting on both sides of the Atlantic to break away from global tyrany.
That's why October 31, 2019 is SO DAMN IMPORTANT!!! If the U.K. leaves ONCE AND FOR ALL on that date it will be a BANNER day for them (and hopefully other nations will see this and BAIL OUT OF THE E.U. as well)!!! I'm betting that Italy will go next...
Yes, Italy might go next. Also, when the Italian banks fall, it will drag the Deutsche Bank with it and that means.... the end of the EU. Not many of us know that all EU members are forced to assist with bailing out when one member falls. Within 7 days, that means.... huge panic in the monkey cage!

I think it is important to mention that only 128 of the 705 seats in the European parlement are currently occupied by Eurosceptic politicians. Of these not even all of them want their countries to leave the EU. Most EU citizens want to fix the inefficiënties of the EU and to make it more democratic instead of leaving it. Some of his points are misleading because they are out of context, while some points are good.
brian rodney I can assure you it's not. Believe it or not, a lack of slavish devotion to Nigel Farage is not tantamount to slavish devotion to the EU. Politics isn't black and white.
Bill Green I'm tempted to ask you take same thing, given that you've claimed that your "hero" is a man who failed to be elected to the British parliament on nine separate occasions. Farage and UKIP were a protest vote, and are now a politically spent force, with their supporters having flocked back to the Conservative party at the last UK general election.
There are so many misleading claims in this video. The European government spends 300,000,000 euros but out of an EU budget of 1,600,000,000,000 euros that is less than 0.3 per cent. Furthermore, the fishing industry accounts for only 0.1 per cent of the UK economy (very little).
"Why Britain Left the European Union"

Hey guess what, we're all governed by officials we didn't vote for and have no impact on. What difference does a couple hundred more make?
Such as? There are administrations that enforce laws and rules, but those organizations don't actually make those rules. Congress passes the law, and because Congress cannot award themselves more power and oversight than allotted to them by the Constitution, they create a specialized executive body to research and enforce the laws it passes.
The UK is governed by parliament all of which are elected, the house of lords isn't elected but then again parliament doesn't have to pay any attention to them. The only people in the UK that can make laws is parliament and every single one of them is elected, even the morons that are the SNP

@@jonb77 Why doesn't this have 2k thumbs up clicks?
That was a long way to downplay one of the most successful militaries in history

ML8593wy great b8 m8 i would say something sooner but this is kind of funny
Gotta admit tho...its hilarious to hear the brits talk about independence
The irony eh?
All countries colonised by the UK in the past all have independence.
It's not independence
Cherry picking history to guilt countries into giving up their sovereignty is exactly why Europe is in a mess.

You know your exact arguments could be applied to Scottish, Northern Irish and welsh independence right?
Yup
How?😑
B Scott free Scotland!
Qasem Imad The idea of multiple governments governing citizens from countries they themselves haven’t lived in being a bad thing, Westminster is very England centric, so the laws they impose don’t always take into account the unique needs and wants of Scots,
Scotland currently has a holyrood, Westminster and the Brussels imposing laws.
Having Nigel Farage (the face of Brexit) tell us about the EU is the same as having Kim Jung Un give a speech on democracy and the American values.
really thats why france and holland paniced over losing their fishing rights in british waters
It's really good to see a privately educated, ex banker, who will happily take his EU pension, representing the British working man.
And who attempted to get himself a German passport. Don't forget that part.
@@maxwild1212 I mean his wife is German.
@@zakapholiac9377 He (presumably) already had a British passport, though. Why would he need a German one as well?
@@maxwild1212 Because why not if you’re legally entitled to it? My wife is Turkish, I have a Turkish passport and a British one… Does not mean I am now an AKP, Erdogan supporting Turkish nationalist…
Your logic contradicts itself countless times. To that rose-coloured perception of Great-Britain as the liberator of Europe, you might want to add the fact that Great-Britain was one of the worst despots of all. Just ask India, South-Africa, the Caribbean, Pakistan, Kenya, etc. But the fact that you left out that massive part of history and only claimed the "good bit" says a lot about why you are so ignorant about the racist discrepancies in your "nationalist" discourse.
@@carltonpoindexter2034 That's why they've been involved in countless wars abroad? Don't make me laugh.
Nigel Farage make a lot of people angry because he speaks the truth.
actually he lied, he said all 28 countries need to ratify all treaties in the eu to make any reform, the truth is that the European union treaty that created the organization in the first place is the only treaty they have to ratify, thats the whole point of the union, to create a more streamlined reform process
@@InitialPC Actually no he didn't,
"ANY REFORM to the legal basis of the EU must be ratified according to the procedures in each member state. ALL STATES ARE REQUIRED TO RATIFY it and lodge the instruments of ratification with the Government of Italy before the treaty can come into force in any respect. In some states, such as Ireland, this is usually a referendum as any change to that state's constitution requires one. In others, such as Belgium, referendums are constitutionally banned and the ratification must take place in its national parliament."

Andrey that’s understood. But even if it was won by one vote it shouldn’t matter, otherwise what’s the point of voting if all they can say is... well it was to close to say so we’re gonna have another vote.
I understand what y'all are saying, but at the same time it's so handy to have the EU.. so easy to travel between the countries in it and i know so many people who managed to get european fonds for their business and ideas.. that's kinda hard to give up when you're already used to the bad parts and enjoing the good ones (that's why, i think, so many of us, europeans, see the EU as a great thing)
Europeans share a land mass so you will experience it differently from us anyway - also Europeans have been more used to top down regimes, ie. the Napoleonic Code, English Common Law just isn’t the same. There is NO reason why increased cooperation and trade should be predicated upon becoming part of a United States of Europe and being ruled from Brussels by a load of out of touch bureaucrats.
If there's something everyone across the political spectrum agrees on, it's the fact that people on the other side have never worked in their lives!
I absolutely *love* how you didn't provide any sources for your claims! :)
That’s PragerU for you 😉
I am French and what he says is true.
Whether you're for brexit or not.
Let's all stop being delusional here.
Is a lie ? What he did say?
This exact argument could be used to support all 50 US States becoming 50 seperate countries. Why should DC dictate how people across all 50 states live?
It would also work for disbanding the United Kingdom into its 4 constituent countries.
Because they are elected by the people.😑
US states are not nations you fool.
I met Nigel in a pub in Brussels. He really does love Europe.
Thank god.
I do hope that you know (+Tucson Jim) the meaning of teh English word I use to describe your rants: "Bollocks."
Going out EU is pointless but you are against us since when you Lost the wars of 100 years against France, you liste n ti the propaganda of politicians
Soo how's Brexit going for you guys now...
Well how did things work out ? are we much better ?
Well let’s see are leaders have consisted of a person who broke his social distancing rules partying a woman who knows less about the economy than a five year old child and someone who whiles undeniably competent is so boring it’s brain melting also are economy is bust and we can’t afford anything so you know could be better
dont know we never left any attempt to bring about brexit was sabotaged every way possible by the traitors in government and the civl service obeying their wef paymasters
Oh seeing Nige this morning is a nice surprise!
Today is the 24 of June, the day I was parking up after a driving lesson and was told by my instructor told me ‘we will leaving the EU.’ Neither of us expected it, but we were glad.
I'm originally from Britain and i voted leave without knowing any of this (I hold dual citizenship). Thanks for the enlightenment.
Peter S I live in the US and economically, that’s the best bet of all.
The EU is predicated to have a major recesssion
Wow! Makes sense to vote while not knowing anything about it.
Congrats on destroying your future 😂
Ekaterina S lmao eu is a communist organization. They’re aiming to literally overthrow current social norms and control everyone’s life. I think it’s feasible to want out and run the country the way your people want it and maybe even have a chance at a decent level of freedom rather than some blokes in brussels that haven’t ever done anything good give it a shot. Note they’re also trying to make the eu one country with the sole purpose of standing up to the US and China. A good trade deal with the US is better than anything with the eu. Germany in fact need us, they rely on car exports here whilst we sell jack to them.
So you voted for brexit without living in the UK or knowing anything about it? Well, that explains a lot
The legend himself.
Time for the European union to be history! once and for all! Europeans! Take your country's back NOW!!
RAPTOR 01 nah, the economy is better, unified army soon so more defense from Russia, and free movement in between most If not all interesting nations,
@@neb4587 soy boys who don't have no experience about power and collectivism, real life is not the same as you college courses.
@@neb4587 Why should people accept it?
Sir Philip Green used globalisation and slave labour in the developing world to make billions for himself at the expense of garment workers in the UK who can't compete against the slave labour rates in Bangladesh, why is that acceptable?
The environment is being destroyed by companies that choose to manufacture in countries that have no environmental controls just to lower costs, why is that acceptable? The last great mammalian extinction was the Yellow River Dolphin that is gone solely thanks to the pollution caused by globalisation, again, why should people accept this?
@Jon B by Mediterranean nations do you mean Greece? Which was taking on too many loans to make it seem as if their other loans didn't exsist as a scheme provided by an American nation? Also. You are obviously from the UK and claim that your the only nation which hasn't put up walls? Excuse me have you ever heard of Germany and Sweden taking it the highest amount of refugees per capita? Go back to Great Britain and think of what you are saying
Sincerely. Me
I bet Farage is against Scottish independence
Wasnt expecting to see farage on this channel lol

Should be a national holiday

Good Idea
Ryan Smalley I agree
Yeah, your government will place it right after obedience day and police day for the only legal weekend in the country.
I hope that Nigel's dream of prosperous, free and fair trade (4:46) will come true. That's why I don't understand why UK's negotiating the access to the common EU market. WTO free trade rules would be enough for this dream to become real.
This guy is a national and European hero. When the EU breaks up we'll all wonder why we put up with it's nonsense for so long
Ok thats what you think but I (one 18 year old Student from germany) the only thing which Brexit achieve is that Europe and especially Britain will lose their global impact and that's only because some rich elites in the UK wants to profit from that...
Nigel farage ? Truly an unbiased and not one-sided at all video
I believe abortion is murder and there is always another option that will save both moms and babies
I believe that bullying is wrong.
History will show he’s the greatest Brit since Churchill
Edit: without spilling ONE drop of blood

Churchill wasnt a good man. He killed 3 million Indians
Why would there have been blood? There was no war.
It didn't work
In the times where the brexit vote was still coming up I really much hated Farage. But now that he brings up some reasonable arguments, I can't help but kinda agree. Either way, the next year is gonna be interesting.
- Greetings from Munich.
Tobias Leiminger I hope Trump talks some sense into Merkel but I doubt she will listen and continue to let the country be overrun with migrants.

Man I love it when you guys come out with things like this that bring clarity to so much confusion.
If this gave you clarity you must have had a lot of confusion
Nigel should be considered a hero by all free countries.
crook*
Nigel Farage is my hero.
That's genuinely tragic.
I suppose you hero is Guy Verhofstadt.
Sdakouls3 Your comment is genuinely trollish. Is that the best you can do?
brian rodney I can assure you it's not.
Holy shit it’s actually him
There are so many misleading claims in this video. The European government spends 300,000,000 euros but out of an EU budget of 1,600,000,000,000 euros that is less than 0.3 per cent. Furthermore, the fishing industry accounts for only 0.1 per cent of the UK economy (very little).
Even though the amount is small, it could have been waaaay better spent on numerous other things. I'm not anti-EU. The EU needs reforms.
Wish there was way for me to get in Britain, Eu has became such a shit and i didn't do anything to make it that way
