So How to abide in Christ. Read the word ( Jesus is the word),pray, and praise and worship (spend time in the presents of the Holy Spirit) and be obedient to what the father say for you to do. I think that it in a nut shell. The more time you spend doing this then the more of God you will have and the more fruit as you will produce .
I may be misunderstanding, but I hear you saying, Jesus gives us His Life and then you say we are to bear the fruit. This can be misleading. First I want to say I love hearing you preach. We can't bear any fruit apart from Him. The Holy Spirit produces His Fruit in us The Branch. If remain in Him, (The Vine) (Abide) in Him and feed on Him (The Word), then The Holy Spirit start's producing The Fruit in us. This may be what you are trying to say and I may have misunderstood you, but I just wanted to share this. Again I love to hear you preach, I just came across you.
