- In this episode I try to fix a major part of my RC car's suspension with JB Weld, the tried and tested epoxy I've never been let down by. With a rated 4000psi of strength can it withstand the forces a modern and fast RC buggy can produce on impact. We will see!

I take all mine to skate parks for a bashing. Drive shafts pop out and occasionally sub plates need bending back. Soooo much fun!
Haha! Yeah I've recently discovered skatepark bashing! It's great!😁
I imagine you will start getting upgraded parts soon just keep in mind when bashing them hard some thing has to give so make the weakest point the cheapest point
Hey there, I'm pretty sure those parts are called Up Rights. I used to bust them all the time on my 1/5 HPI Baja T SC. You should be able to find aftermarket metal uprights. T6 Aluminium. Take care I really enjoy all your videos!!
Aaron
Thanks Aaron, I'll have to have a deeper look for aftermsrket ally parts for the Radix 👍🏻they must exist!
Andy did u buy the hd version of the hubs , my originals lasted 3 laps at the track
I didn't think there was anything other than the standard ones?
@@andykirby Motorsport do sell them be careful if u decide to get cos there is 2 lots one for Kronos and 1 for buggy , if u need link give me message and I send u link
Would jb weld work on the steering servo and horn cogs?
They are pillow ball hubs, I had them on my shark, there's loads of stock in UK but won't say where as last time I put links to help you out and it got deleted.
I'm so happy to see my shamless-plug sticker is still on the side of the 3D printer! I will carefully place more around your studio next time.. lol! Great vid matey.
There's at least 3 NJ Tech logos already in that room! I just counted 🤣🤣
That tune at the end is bloody sick! Only old skool DnB
@@andykirby I named my baby after you. Mate

Cheers mate!
I have the Corally punisher, very very good fun
That thing is cool lookin and fast haha!
The gadget man lol
is it aluminum you could weld it with a arc welder?
Wow Garages in Hertford they've not put 3948343 houses on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
looked like jb weld was gonna work, shame 😦 awesome buggy though 👌subscribed 👍 👍 😎
Hi andy you always provide great videos. But theres one that I struggle to find I think other people would be interested in this to so my question is could you make a video showing how to charge your ebike battery to say 80 percent. With no expensive charger. I wonder if a cheep boosts buck converter set to say 40v for a 36v battery would do the job can you charge at 40v instead of the normal 42v . I'm sure the people in the no. No this would sound obvious but I think to others like myself dont no . Iv got to the point where I set a timer for my ebike every 30 minutes I check the state of charge and unplug it when it gets to around 80 percent. There must be an easier way? Please please could you help
I've read in endless sphere forums that some buy a second charger, remove the lid and reduce the voltage using the voltage adjuster pot. It means having 2 chargers, one for full charge and balancing and one to just go to 80%.
JUNGLE!!!?!?!
It might have lasted longer if you didn't try and pull it apart again before you fitted it 😂

Take my word for it, a 3d printer won't print that part and have it hold up at all too much abuse mate. It has nothing to do with your design skills but more how the printer lays down the material, it'll be strong in 2 directions but NOT in the others, a 3d printer is a really good bit of kit, I own one and print loads of things when doing prototyping. They are really good for that and is where they shine. Unfortunately, thin high stress parts is not one of them.....
I have a Karcher RC3000 robot vac that decided upon a transition down the stairs about 5 years ago and was in a sorry state at the bottom as it also crashed into a door... JB Weld to the rescue and plenty of it! It is still going strong today (couple of NiMH packs later) - although I did use mesh in the JB Weld behind some of the joints for extra strength...
just needed more jb
so can you 3d print the parts cogs ect ?
gear cog
Yep!
Strange about the electric bikes though?????
That car has some serious balls
I notice you run your cars very Hard !! Two half days to dry with JB!!
Quick mate that
Fixing them is as fun as thrashing them. Get a good collection of uprights and driveshafts! Need to see some big air dude! I could almost get my Tmaxx into low earth orbit. Nice to see what the 3D printer can do - But I have doubts as to if it will be tough enough.
Yeah its quite relaxing fixing these things! This thing will jump like crazy, I've seen videos of it flying over trees 🤣
Awww nice to see NJ's old Ender 3! like seeing an old friend!! P.S. i'm never going to buy a 2nd hand car off you!! ;)
🤣🤣🤣
Where can i found the wheels an spacers that you had on the twizy?
Thinking about buying a twizy if i can change the wheels. Think i look kinda funny without changing wheels
They were from elia tuning.
Hi Andy my love. My friend gave me a WAU bike to get to the hospital to have my baby called Andy, named after you. I'm now pregnant again please can I borrow your Kirby Bike.
U are a scemmer
What battery are you using for your CSFR module Andy? Cheers mate 👍
Just a little 2S 850 lipo I think.
Had the same experience for a long time now in the RC industry hpi britz never been able to get parts for even when it was first out. Had to improvise and make my own parts now it's like a tank.
Sorry rc cars don't mean now use your channel for good
Explain please...
