The car's Builder is Larry Weiner. Larry designs these cars for you the consumer. He has all the proper rights to build modern “Hurst / Olds” version of cars for today’s Car Enthusiast.

Oh thank Lou for sharing this as I asked you about it the other day and you said stay tuned. Boy that was awesome loved it the sound the style the colors and.just every thing. If it had a moon roof too would have been more of a blast! I had a Chrysler 300c SRT8 and that that was a outstanding car but this is really cool! I am.so so glad you got to share it Lou. I remember the Chrysler 300 from 1970 it was awesome too.i.loved that one as well back then. Just a awesome video and the guy that operated it and talked about it was a great guy! Boy among men* U cant make a car look like that and slap Hurst on it, a company known for performance parts and notoriously reliable shifter kits, to have a guy produce such an amateur interpretation of a car. Its never gonna sell and no one is ever gonna see another one.

The car itself is real nice compare to the generation before then they add the Hurst colors and flowmaster exhaust and now it's a hot ride nicely done

IT WAS FUN FOR some 12 years : rusted out bad even, with Ziebert Rust Protections....

I love the heck out of the interior! It really does have what he said - a suggestion of past blended with the present (classic stylings) but on the outside? Eh - its just my personal opinion, but aside from the excellent paint and a scant few accents - it's externally generic as with most newer cars.
Don't get me wrong. If someone gave me this car (like that will ever happen - lol) .., my daddy didn't raise no fool - I'd take it in a heartbeat! LoL. Lastly - That Engine Tho! YESSSSSSS! I'd ride that baby to the moon! For just a second when you asked Larry the phone number - and he said "Seven-Six-Oh" I thought he was gonna leave it at that - LOL - which would have been hallarious. I kinda wish he had of just for laughs. :-D Thanx again Lou for another job well done.

My son and I saw it that year at Carlisle, had mixed feelings about it at first, but overall it was pretty Kool! I'm completely old skool car guy and my son 18, having a good taste and understanding the new and old (our family owning many 1955/56 Mopars) having a 17 HEMI 300c the more I looked at it, the more I liked it, yeah there's no shifter to improve on but a crisp transmission reprogram with a HURST knob and paddle shifters would be kinda kool

Tom Hertz Yes, Tom maybe they have. On the Mustang I rented it was Black with Gold stripes and 20 inch black rims. IN 2007 THEY were used quote often. But the Hurst rims come in both! I used the chrome and Gold rims in the video long before Lou' s video. It just so happens that I did my 2004 Concorde this way! It was white with black interior before I got started. Some of the cars had em, Some didn't! Do your home work and you will fall in love with the Hurst models. Check out the early Cutlass cars 73,74, 75, and the 84 to 87 ones too.Shawn

I have a 2004 Concorde with the 3.5 24 VALVE V'6 engine. All the bell's and whistles. The color is alot like the Hurst, that's in the video. Just a few weeks ago before this video.I looked up the name of the Gold paint on line. I took a picture of my car and made a drawing with the white and the Gold stripes and found a picture of the Hurst rims and added it to the drawing. The curves with the white and gold stripes and rims. Turned out awsome! Then by chance, I ran across the video of the 300 H GSS. If they had made this car in 2004 I would have bought it so I am looking for a paint shop to create this concept for me. Not a rip off, but my idea of of this year of car if it would have been a Hurst model. THE great 1970 Hurst model is my favorite car of all time with the 440 engine.Shawn

JD GOT MODELS Davis No thanks! My Concorde is very well maintained! Plus that year they changed the body style I think! Maybe the next year. The trunk is bigger than the block back style. Plus the Gold stripes look really good against the white paint. My interior is black with white inserts. The Concorde is a better looking car. Also added the Hurst rims chrome and gold. This is the car they should have built. Some one from GSS called me for the pictures of the 2004 Concorde. THEY SAID it was spot on. I asked if was a infringement , They asked me if I wanted to work for them. I am just Joe average. But my idea works so well. It hurts them to know that my car is just as GOOD as theirs!Shawn

Shawn Beck Let me make myself a little more clear. I don't need to check facts before saying anything. I'm not disputing facts. "The wheels are gorgeous." I'm just not a fan of them on this particular 300. Just because a wheel has great history and looks good standing doesn't mean it looks great on every single vehicle they're mounted on. Again, as an owner of the exact same vehicle, color and Hemi, it looks amazing.

Nice car , I just purchased a demo 2019 Chrysler 300 touring with 3.6 v6. I love it, but if I’ve known more about HEMI, I would have bought one. My previous car was a 2010 impala with 3.5 v6,I upgraded a little.... lolll . Noticed that my 300 is in need of detailing, there’s many surface scratches all over the car, repaint would cost to much, would you know of a good company in Ottawa , Ontario Canada that could do the job at a reasonable price. Thank you in advance.

Wow i owned the 70 300H And it was the last VIN. Sold it at chrysler engineering to a friend of Lee Iacocca. Turns out the guy had 2 of each year from 55 to 70. The 70 was the only Hurst.

Man, When Grand was around they put out some different out some great Mopars. Super charging Demon's in the 70's was way ahead of its time! Hey, Lou! I am thinking about buying SRT6 Crossfires and making them GSS' s with the 300 horse's convertibles model found a white one. I think it can be done the power already there. Everybody thinks the 300 5.7 Hurst model is a Dog! The Cross fire is a great platform to start with! Add the Gold paint and some Hurst rims and change the seats to black and Gold and white! Thinking about reversible cushions like the Cutlass I have! It's going to be a great project! Will have to draw up some ideas on Photoshop! I am picking up the Cross fire this week! 28,000 miles for $ 6500.00 what a deal! What do you think? I would like your valued opinion? Please! I can here the Flat bed pulling up now! Shawn

I gotta say... I'm pretty disappointed that there wasn't an actual Hurst shifter in the car. I've like the 300 since there's been a 300 from way back in the day. But these modern versions beginning in I think in 2005 are spectacular. I have owned 2 myself. A 2007 and a 2014 300s. GREAT car! This one in the video has a great look and I'm sure that it drives amazing. Very nice interior also. But a Hurst shifter really would have been the one thing that I'd want in it.

the only thing that car needs to be perfect is a challenger 6speed manual, with a hurst shifter ;) my opinion only. always loved the Hurst cars growing up. my neighbor had a cutlass exactly like the one next to this car.

Man, the SRT parts literally bolt on. Where are the Brembos, the lowered stance, hell, even the 6.4? I'm disappointed. This is nothing more than a stock car with some stickers.

You drive this car anywhere on the street or a gas station. People, won't leave you alone. I drive my 2004 Concorde in this color combo, and the Hurst wheels. They run over to me and ask me all kinds of ?'s. I love to drive it around. Built it and they will come try it don't knock it! Hater! Shawn
Lou Costabile my daily driver is a 2006 SRT8 300. I'm passionate about them and disappointed in what this car is, instead of what they could have done with it.
Shawn Beck he’s not hating, just saying it’s all looks. They made it look special but it runs no better than my 2005 300. It’s a lot nicer, I won’t argue, but performance is not any better other than having eagle heads and an 8 speed, but that’s standard on every charger rt.
All That Is Krogan! The point is! Lou! Was just showing about the appearance package on this model. Nothing about performance. Some times in the Hurst models it was just that the looks. And a Hurst shifter! The technology has advanced to the point! The knob is the shifter.So I,guess if you wanted Hurst to put a Hurst knob instead of the chrome one. There you go! If people would go on You Tube and look up the Histroy of Hurst this is all explained! This is not Rock Science. It's just the looks! Shawn

Ok hood scoop off hellcat and a scatpack and some strips and some Hurst wheels ok what under the hood but a supercharged and ur shifter and the pads on the brakes , gas now make it a true stick

Lou Costabile it is nice, but honestly it looks like all that was done to it was cosmetic. Shoulda done a little more on the performance end. The hemi is great and all, but you'll get more out of it with even a cheap set of shorty headers. And a better set of brakes. I get theres obviously a contract with flowmaster ( had several of their setups on my hemi,they didn't last) but there could have been alot more. That hood though. Serious props it's gorgeous. Woulda went with a pair of shorties, and used the same secondary color for the smaller trim, like handles, and gas tank cover. And I would have had the engine cosmetic done using billet tech all around. It is pretty eye catching though. Just not my cup a tea.
It is kind of disappointing that the engine, transmission and shifter are the same as my stock 300s. I like the stock wheels a little better, they are just not wide enough. Most of us want to get rid of that ugly engine cover, I don't think I would paint it. The exhaust does sound better than stock but that is an easy fix. The one thing that makes a big difference is the rear exhaust outlets. My car's stock exhaust trim is ugly. This car's rear lower valance is nice, like an SRT8. Interesting video.

The wheels gotta go.. Would have like to seen more gold and white theme colors on the Speedometer and maybe even a Hurst animation there. The Navi should have the same touches.

Same 5.7 engine I had in my 2005 Chrysler 300 C and everything else is basically the same as the rest of the one's with that body style except for the add-on's which you can buy at most speed & custom shops or have made for 1/3 of the price that you'll pay trying to purchase one of those new.

This is not a Hurst. It's an appearance package car. Sadly. These old tuner guys are still putting out products that are outdated and behind the new school tuners.

Nice looking....not over the top, but chrome pieces ( chrysler emblem) and interior shouldve been painted or wrapped in hurst gold.Also seats should have gold on them along with gold stitching then it would've been almost perfect
