- My first-ever trip to Thailand couldn't have kicked off better than at the Crowne Plaza Phuket Panwa Beach Hotel. This gorgeous beachfront property is nestled into the most lovely bay and surrounded by authentic local life that charms the soul. There's a feeling of expansiveness to the entire place, starting with its open architecture entrance and lobby area that use the natural landscape backdrop as its jaw-dropping wow factor. While I was there I enjoyed yummy Thai cuisine, delicious cocktails made with local rum, and one of the best spa experiences I've had in ages. The rooms are modern and stylish and offer up stunning views of land and sea and gave me some of my favourite Instagram moments from my trip.
Room or Suite?
When I walked into my sea view balcony room on day one, I fell in love at first sight! It was the view that did it. That amazing, breathtaking view!!! Seriously, it had me at hello :-)
All of the rooms at Crowne Plaza are spacious and airy and extremely welcoming. However, if you're on the fence about whether to reserve a room or a suite, let me share my experience with you. I enjoyed both my Room on night one and the Suite I was upgraded to on night two and there are certain things about each night that I loved a bit more than the other. Whichever category you choose, just take my advice and book one with a sea view.

Great presentation !
Wow so cool
Hi Angela, I thought the 1st room is great especially the balcony overlooking the gorgeous beach. The second room is even better! just nice for a getaway trip! :D The food made by the female chef looks amazing! I'm sure it tasted good! I'm salivating already! haha!
hehehehhe yes that was good :-) I'm not a fan of buffet dining (except Sunday Brunch but it has to have Champagne) but their fresh fish and fresh pastas were actually quite good. It's funny because I don't think you read my blog that gave my breakdown of the 2 rooms and your reasons for liking each one is the same as mine :-) that view in the first room was my favourite from the 4 hotels I stayed at last month in Phuket.
Expat Angela I didn't read your blog! but it seems like we have the same taste of the hotel room we like? haha! I see the second room have two levels, there is only one room?
The second room was on two floors, bedroom upstairs, living areas and direct pool access downstairs
Perfect rooms :)
Thank you for making this video! I’m considering going to this hotel :) Thanks for showing me around. Loved it
Thanks so much, I hope you'll love it as much as I did. The location is amazing.
❤ good to see you 💗 ENJOY
hehe thanks :-) I can't wait to return to Phuket again soon!
Massaman curry is to die forrrrrrrr
Googling it, I had no idea the spelling of the name :-) Thank you!
Stayed here a few years ago. Slightly isolated but beautiful resort!! One of my favourites in Phuket.
Yesss, mine too. And you're right, it's true about it being isolated. I tried to head out to a night market but there really wasn't one close by. But it's such a beautiful hotel that I didn't miss it in the least ;-)
That's true. Maybe spending more time there isn't such a bad thing ;) Btw, I know Kwang who served you the cocktail in the video. I'll be sure to share this with her :)
Ohhhh please do share it, she was so sweet, and looks so amazingly pretty there shaking up that cocktail :-)
Phuket is beautiful. I've stayed at a Cape Panwa Hotel, wonder if it's d same resort. D food in Thailand is amazing. Wonderful.
Agreed, love Thai food!!! So fresh and dee-lish.
Hi Angela. Have you ever been to Death Valley, CA? Amazing place.
Heyyyy Fahad - yes, I'm from southern California and have been there on road trips (and I'm a private pilot and have flown over it on the outskirts which is stunning). Glad you like it :-) Have you been or do you live there?
Expat Angela Yes I have seen it. I actually find it quite spiritually peacefull. Don't know why.
Oh nice! Yes, I used to feel that way driving through it (or near it) and flying over it. It's a special place :-)
Hello, How is the private beach? Is it suitable for swimming and other water activities?
Hmmmmm not really from what I remember. In fact, I don't remember ever seeing anyone there swim. The tide goes out during the day and only returns in the afternoon quite late (if memory serves). It's the perfect hotel if you're keen on chilled pool time and going out for excursions to pretty beaches close by :-) Hope that helps x
How far is the property from Patong and how approachable is the hotel from Patong
I live in Kuala Lumpur ... no idea about your question sadly.
