while true, that is more impactfull when you hit less acurate, in average , it got 1 extra shot with this data slate, not a great buff and +30 points on cost. Or 2 shots if you are in +1 Bs
It's better for the faction now because they were playing like knockoff guard and admech were rediculously expensive to collect to the point getting a warhound titan was cheaper than to fill out 1000pts. And all of their rules and weapons got buffs so its more of a rework than a nerf
Vanguard riding in a dune rider just got a whole lot scarier for point storming and clearing, dune rider with 18 AP -1 shots plus a vanguard squad having 30 AP -1 shots having full reroll to hit from marshal and full reroll to hit from the dune rider ability is a TON of dice rolls
The Enginseer also no longer gives a 4++ from his ability to the vehicles he repairs, instead giving a 5+ FNP, which makes those vehicles extra tanky. Running them with Onager Dunecrawlers looks genuinely scary (albeit about twice the price as it used to be XD)
I'd argue that they were kind of needed with a block of Kastellans as the first one they attempt to hit would have a save profile of 2+/5++/5+++. Good luck cracking that anytime soon, that said a full skew list did get hit quite a bit if you don't run cawl to babysit the gun line.

Admech VS World Eaters Yesterday, Score was 26 to 38 at the end of turn 2, I tabled World Eaters on Turn 3. My Neut laser + Erad. Beamer Dunecrawlers plus Laser-Ironstriders absolutely crushed my opponent 'Oops all eightbound!'-list. I deployed by feeding my Rusttalkers and Dragoons to the front line of my deployment zone, Angron wouldnt pop 2 Dragoons in one swing, my saves were hot! Knowing that WE can turn-one-charge you is not all that scary with preparation, the large and tough dragoons will not only survive attach but also fallback and charge to allow shooting later. The -1 to be hit in melee DRAMATICALLY dropped WE damage, maybe 25-30% less killy from that rule alone.
This update is just what we needed! I might be a but biased, butvI don't think we're so strong now that we wilk be nerf big in the next Hitting on 3 finaly! And hitting on 2s if standing still Or get a exte ap but then hit on 4s I looking forward to try this out :)
