  • "Handle With Care"
    Live 2019 North American Tour
“Handle With Care” was a 1988 hit for the Traveling Wilburys, the supergroup formed by Jeff Lynne and George Harrison along with Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. Jeff and the band are joined by Dhani Harrison who captures the essence of his fathers performance magnificently. Iain Hornal is brilliant covering Roy Orbisons portions. Bravo!
"With the Electric Light Orchestra, it’s all about the songs, and they are glorious," Pittsburgh Post Gazette
Jeff Lynne's ELO "Live 2019 Tour" was again a smashing success. Footage is featured from various performances along the tour. This is for all those that once again could not make the trek to these epic dates. Make sure to catch this premier tour when it hits the road again.
Thank You Jeff Lynne and Crew for sharing your music and talents on these special nights!
Purchase Jeff Lynne's ELO 'Wembley Or Bust' Video and Music.
    It is spectacular.
It will become a favorite in your playlist.
    Cheers!

Although Jeff Lynne may not have sang lead in the recorded version, he understandably dominates at his concerts. Since the 2018 tour was the last time Handle With Care saw regular performances by a living Wilbury, it was “expected” that Jeff would take lead.
The fact Dhani was invited to join in with not the “expected” support role of rhythm guitar and back up vocals, but to perform his father’s lead position with Jeff taking a backseat was unselfish of Jeff.
That was the point of the post.

Saw them in Sunrise, FL. One of the best concerts I've been to. Dhani is a carbon copy of his father. This song put a lump in the throat for sure.

Wow, I think Dhani said 'I love you' right at the end to Jeff. What a beautiful thing to say, he obvious has deep respect for his dad's mate. After been a lifetime fan of the Beatles and learning the personalities of all the guys from reading, videos, music...etc George was the one I ended up liking the most. For me George was a spiritual man, I didn't agree with his choice of religion but I admired his awareness and humility and his realization that there is a greater force or power above us. Listening to him making a point with respect and reason was another characteristic about George that made him my No1 Beatle..

I'm not a believer in George's chosen religion but it is a beautiful, gentle one and perfect for him. He wwas always my favourite Beatle.

I liked George but since he was so religious I felt he should have been less of a ladies man & true to his wives. Maybe I am a little old fashioned. I guess my religion had different values. Everyone pays a price for their actions.

@Cosmic Goat If you think Christians were the problem. You are totally wrong. Unfortunately, John was assassinated by a lunatic. George was attacked by a mentally deranged man. Both had Mental illness. I have my values due to my loving parents who never cheated on each other. So as we know The Beatles had girls all the time. That was their choice & therefore they paid the price of failed marriages. Everyone has an opinion & this is mine. Have a nice day.
