  • I want to thank everyone who watched this video series. Lots of time, energy, and passion was involved in bringing this content to you.
Mounting a whitetail deer is a lot of work and takes someone like myself to show you how I get through all the aspects of the mount.
There is a level of artistry that goes into mounting a deer to bring it from average to the next level. My hope is through watching this series you'll gain the knowledge to be at least better than average. I'm looking forward to having you watch it and share some of your comments or highlights of info that maybe I can elaborate on in the future.
Id also be very excited to see some of your personal work after making it through my Masterclass on videos.
Everything I'm using as far as tools, equipment, etc.. can be found at the matuska or Mckenzie taxidermy websites.

Watched every single one of these videos, thanks for these! Just one thought I had to help with the camera focusing in and out. When I want to focus on one thing, I will often make sure its in focus on the display screen and then just switch it to manual focus on the lens. This will lock in the focus so when you go in with a tool in your hand its not switching back and forth from your hand to the eye etc..... But this was a great series and will definitely come in handy!

@@Matt_Dove3 thanks for the criticism. I watched a few back after they were filmed. (Can’t really unmount a mounted deer)! Ha! I noticed the focus jumping. I thought I could edit around it with the 2 angles but at times they both were slightly out or searching. Hard to do all that by myself with dirty hands. I fixed that on the last few videos I believe by getting focus manually.
      Thank you for watching.
