People always give him hate but I believe he's the best in the business and works his butt off and it shows in his success just because he did it "unorthodox" or "different" from what people are use to seeing or doing doesn't mean he not a good hunter he found his own lane and paved his own path in the industry 🐐
HANDS DOWN THE TRUEST STATEMENT IN THE HUNTING WORLD. HE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST.
There are people that hate Lee? For what? He seems like a good genuine guy who loves to kill big bucks
Yea he really worked his butt off for that trust fund 🤣
Haters gone hate….
Jared mills and Kaleb greiner are both 10x the hunter as him
I can’t wait for crispy November morning, sitting in my lock on, watching the sun come through the trees while the birds are singing
"If you're not around a big deer, you're not going to kill a big deer." Almost sounds like our illustrious vice president. 😂
don't forget that is also related to the passage of time!!🤣
He means you can't kill a 180" deer, if it's not a 180" deer there. That's what that means. It's 100 percent true.
I was thinking the same thing!😂 This guy talks in Kamalaisms😂
I'm a big fan of 2 things. Deer sanctuaries and trespassing
Same😂
If it ain't posted I'm hunting especially if I can access it by ATV 😂🤫
Huge fan of trespassing myself.
Biggest bow buck that I have harvested was on a bottleneck of 10 acres that was sandwiched between 2 neighborhoods and it connected a 350-400 acres crop farm to heavy bedding area and that farm has ALWAYS held big deer with very little pressure. Glad I knocked on one extra door the day that I got permission.
It also helps when everybody spots a big deer and tells him where it was 🤷🏽♂️
@@markgray6233 bingo
Exactly 💯
I am new to hunting got my first bow last year. Just finished my safety class this year. Thank you for the info on knocking on doors. I live in Maine 90% of the land is privately owned. So now I have some understanding how to take to land owners.
Lee works his butt off for those giants. So many bucks get 6-1/2 years old and don’t grow as big as Lee’s bucks. So much to it, that it’s nuts. Heck politics alone on getting permission, let alone the scouting to find those mega giants.
So basically when Lee Comes knocking on my door the answer is gonna be absolutely A No because there's gonna be a hammer in my woods 😅
One can sense that Lee doesn't like to share his 'trade secrets' lol. Helping out the competition will obviously make things harder for him. Props to him for doing it anyways.
Lol it's 2024 and we all know those old ' trade secrets ' is simply paying big money to hunt a huge farm that has employees run trail cams and keep 💯 tabs on the mature deer and where they are all season.
These big TV show guys show up and 90% of the work is already done and they just decide which stand has the most active buck that would make the best footage.
We thought these dudes were kings of hunting back in the 80's and 90's but we know now without all the scouting and prep done by an employee on a bug farm.... most of them would fail miserably....
The big secret they had was they were hunting where someone else was doing all the work. They show up with cameras and within a hunt or two they pull the trigger....
The secrets out !!! Lmao
@@matthunter1667 Are you stupid? Lee and his crew do all the scouting and hunting, you obviously never seen any of their videos. And yeah its 2024 you don't need to "simply pay big money to hunt a huge farm" lmao I pay for general archery season and get to chase some dandy mule deer, whitetail deer and elk up here in eastern Washington. Don't be mad you haven't found the opportunities when they're out there bud.
Haters be hating@@matthunter1667
He literally made an entire video and class on how to do these exact methods
Hey Lee I have some information you might be able to use. This fall is my 52nd bow season. I just retired after a 39 year career as a Financial Advisor. I because of my career can invoke trust in less than a couple minutes when you knock on a door. Love to chat, oh and by the way I am a huge fan of what you do. Lastly one x life insurance guy to another “ there’s no man with endurance like the man who sells insurance “ lol
I work for a local Co-Op in my area. I’ve found that a farmer has never told me no when I ask permission while wearing my work clothes. Their whole lives revolve around the Co-Ops and I believe it’s the reason they always say yes. I also just ask for the opportunity to hunt some does for meat and they love that, rather than just hunting big bucks but it’s completely situational
Just wanted to say God bless you and your family and friends. And good luck hunting this year . I love watching the hunting videos you all make
Good stuff we found that helping farmers work to shoot a deer isn’t worth it just offer to pay to hunt or help their farm with crop damage has helped us gain permission. We rebuilt a giant lean too on a farmers barn that helped but the projects haying the fields farmers never stop working. Unless you want to spend every weekend working for a deer then to each his own! Good luck out there!
Love lee and the guys of seek one!!
It’s so funny how many ppl hate on him, the haters for sure just don’t kill biggins and are jealous, probably just to stubborn to be told anything
best area in missouri for public booners is grand bluffs conservation area along the mo river
thanks for sharing this man.
How are you knowing there would be big deer on that particular property without trespassing on it or running trail cams without a land owner knowing? Im sure you're not just guessing or posting up outside their house with binoculars looking for deer. Lee u seem to know what property to ask permission on.
Lee. I love your passion. And love for hunting. Ain't to many left that have the drive like this. Please don't say anymore lol. Your giving guys with no drive free big buck access. I mean if they had the drive they would already know this. Please say no more about spots.
😂
This info is basic lol
@@user-fx7hk1wp5t yea. That's why your watching it hu lol
Getting permission is simple sales semantics. Learning how to read non-verbal queues, overcoming objections, etc. If the deer hunting thing doesn’t work out for Lee, he’ll be a great sales rep for a company… 😂
He is a sales rep dude, Realtree and all the other gear he uses. Wow!
It's a refreshing take... glad to see you're not farming deer yet 😂. Deer farmers are so 2000's.
How to find big deer?
A: look at Lee’s wall, found them! 😂
"finding big deer" deive through neighborhoods and look for deer, follow rumors and then beg for permission, dont forget to name drop mom and dad. Then pay them for permission if that fails.
@@bloodlines9610 and then ride that strategy to RUclips fame and a false sense of clout in the hunting world. The real ones know
What you are telling is no secrete.
Secrete vs secret 🤔
Lots of Hater-Aid being drank on this video. I hunt in a club with thousands of acreages and never share. When asked what I saw my reply is “a doe and button head”! I also hunt suburban area beside my house and again I don’t share. The deer even though are use to the sound of people, know better than to get to close to said sound hints me using same tactics in suburban as I do in rural leading to a nice 130” bow kill last season. Even though it’s obvious I’ll say it, hunting is hunting no matter where your spot is. Deer don’t get big by being dumb!
I have found in my 55 years of hunting. These days most of the great big buck hunters are hunting. Suburban areas, Land trusts, conservancies and parks. That ar “Public” land but are usually closed to hunting. But are open for hunting when the deer population needs thinning. I have seen areas open to hunting where 3 weeks earlier you could practically feed them out of your hand. Each his own. But to me it’s a joke.
Never hunted public tho……
You almost have to get a signed contract to hunt someone's land these days. If they see you bust a booner on their back 40 they're suddenly going to be very angry.
I don’t really give this guy much credit cause he’s essentially hunting a non pressured “pet” so to speak. But he has his own way of doing it which I do respect to an extent. I’m not a “hater” I just don’t really think what he does it all that hard. Other than staying on someone to gain access to the property and essentially to the deer. He’s good at gaining the access. As far as strategizing to kill the deer, I don’t really think he’s that great at.
On a different note, I wonder if he knows giving away these secrets on how to gain access to these properties is hurting him in the long run. Especially when a lot of people know exactly the cities where he’s hunting. I’d be a lot more secretive on giving out that sort of information. Especially if he wants to be able to continue to do it for many years. lol
@@ryanwindham2997 bingo. Need to call what he does something other than hunting. To his credit, he’s good at it. Would make a good salesman
@@jimmychunga2626 “gaining access to, and patterning” a big buck would probably be a better title
Pretty easy when they stand in ppls yards in a neighborhood like dogs on a leash...ask someone that hunts wild animals not backyard 2 acre woodlot city deer...it shouldn't feel right to down those bucks... they have nowhere to go
This is such a bad take, lee killed 3 bucks last year on big chunks of public also. You’ve never seen a deer the caliber of the ones he’s killing and you’re calling it easy?
How do you know where " big deer " live in the first place ?
👉 👀👈
Why did you give out this info?
He is trying to help the urban and hunting community in general. Thankfully these guys and thp keep putting out real content.
😮
Pretty basic info lol
Just plant a food plot hunt over bait you will get your own TV show and they will call you a Great hunter
Don't let the couch hold ya back.
Spot on!!
Not the guy that hunts big deer in neighborhoods and gated communities.
I can find deer in a neighborhood too 😂
@@Treyno94 Post up all your 170+
@@calebbailey7730 lol I’m just stating I can find deer in a neighborhood dude… I hunt the ozarks I dream of seeing 170” deer down here.
Not the guy that makes dumb comments on youtube
@TyerReynoso only a person that can't find big deer in neighborhoods would make this comment.
The best advice I can give y’all is pickup a black and decker spot light you’ll think me later
these guys that are hunting behind these houses in neighborhoods are really makeing hunting look bad.deer dont have the habitat they once had. go ask someone like dan infalt for some advice that hunts public land big national forest
He’s a great hunter, producer, etc…. But why do this with a guy unwilling to share knowledge?
Extremely basic info on this video and nothing about actually finding big bucks in the woods.
Nothing new! Most serious deer hunters know what you talked about! 19 years is nothing! Try 55!
I definitely respect Lee. He’s a great hunter. Used to watch his videos. Probably won’t anymore.
This was an extremely discouraging video. He’s a much better hunter than me. But imagine being so arrogant that you believe you’re the only one who has figured out how to kill big bucks so you’re hesitant in sharing tips with others.
Imagine being so selfish after you’ve killed dozens of world class bucks that you still hold tactics “tight to your chest” instead of helping others learn.
I don’t get it man. We ain’t asking for your spots dude. Just a little help in becoming better hunters from one of the best to do it. Extremely disappointing.
This guy is a clwn...and yes very selfish...I remember seeing one video cpl yrs ago he was so butthurt bc he thought someone got his deer as he was sitting literally in someone back yard...you could see straight in someone's house lol...never watched another vid of his and never will
He gave some valuable information here… Put your boots on the ground, use your brain and make it happen. I am far from the best deer hunter. But every time I hit the woods I try to learn something new, evaluate and adjust. That’s part of the fun. Figure out what works for you. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Once I stopped sitting in the same tree stand over and over again, is when I actually started to learn a lot about deer. Think outside of the box, and try some unorthodox spots and tactics. Have confidence in what you’re doing too. I’ve had some of the best hunts in the strangest of places that are usually overlooked by most hunters.
He is and always has been a major d-bag, the fanboys in here are clueless
😂😂😂😂
This could have been a 30 second video. Answer: knock on doors, pay landowners, and run 1000 cameras. Should call what Lee does something else, cause its not the craft and skill of hunting at all, other than shooting the arrow. Watch The Hunting Public if you want to see real hunting on RUclips.
He's very open he's never paid for permission but would be open to it. Guy works his ass off every successful hunter uses trail cameras don't see how that can be used as a knock against him. You can say what he does is not your style but he put more big bucks on the ground than all the THP guys combined and I'm sure could go out and do exactly what they do and be successful
@@cameront9979 let me ask you something…do you give the same praise to guys who hunt high fence ranches? Cause they put big bucks on the ground, right? It’s just a “different style” of hunting, right?
That answer to all that is no. High fence is not real hunting. It undermines real hunting. Real hunters know this. What Lee does is for intents and purposes a cousin of high fence hunting. It involves virtually captive neighborhood deer, and yes he absolutely pays people to hunt their backyards, him saying he doesn’t is a bald-faced lie, I have heard it directly from enough trusted sources close to these guys and some of the landowners they’ve interacted with.
Sorry to burst your bubble buddy, just truth. Go find another influencer to fanboy over
@@jimmychunga2626 All you guys act like you can walk up to these deer. I don't care if he does pay for access half the people in the states now are paying for leases or own mega managed farms that's closer to high fence than this. I've personally myself shot or been involved with shooting enough mature deer on massive tracts of land up here in Canada to know rural deer are no smarter or wary than those city bucks. A deer is a deer and none of them want to be shot.
@@cameront9979the point you’re missing is finding the deer is half of hunting. I think there’s a lot of guys out there that know giants exist in neighborhoods, but the scouting and the chase is what drives us. What Lee represents is none of that. He’s a trophy and clout chaser. He does not exemplify the essence of the sport and the pastime we love. Doesn’t matter if those deer are just as hard to hunt (they’re not), it’s about the fact that a guy has taken huge shortcuts and acts like he’s the best big buck hunter to exist. He wouldn’t last nor be at all relevant doing what THP and the rest of us public land and even most of the farm lease guys do
@@cameront9979You in love with him, dude??
Kamala should’ve picked this guy for her VP candidate.
This obsession with big deer is interesting. It promotes product after product, leaving the impression that if you have the right, whatever, you will be successful. Reality is that shooting a doe from the ground can be exciting. Hunting big deer isn't really that big of a deal. The idea that trespassing to hunt something big is o.k. is telling. It isn't ethical or o.k. What is going on here?
When did he mention trespassing???
WHEN has Lee every trespassed. Lets examine all the key words and elements of every deer video he has done or produced.
Door Knocking
permission
Signed permission
permission for Cameras
parking permission
"If we don't get a Yes from this home owner I am not sure how I am going to access/Hunt this deer"
SHALL I GO ON SMH.
Are you dumb or dumb?
He's literally riding around neighborhoods all day creeping on ppls land trying to find big deer...when you really think ab it its pretty strange
Find big deer out bid lease owners = screwed this disabled guy over thanks to seek one for making it impossible for local GA hunters to urban deer hunt .
Let me save you guys from supporting or watching these ridiculous videos. How to find big deer? Find land access to areas that hold big deer. There's your answer. Stop listening to these idiots who only hunt certain states
Master manipulator at best. As far as hunting advice from him…. Most this knowledge is already known to most hardcore hunters. The only variable that changes is the fact that he’s hunting deer that don’t fear humans anymore.
This is very pet deer in neighborhoods come on real tree. You gotta be better than this.
How to find big deer? Go knock on peoples door and telling them a made up story
