Biggest bow buck that I have harvested was on a bottleneck of 10 acres that was sandwiched between 2 neighborhoods and it connected a 350-400 acres crop farm to heavy bedding area and that farm has ALWAYS held big deer with very little pressure. Glad I knocked on one extra door the day that I got permission.

Lol it's 2024 and we all know those old ' trade secrets ' is simply paying big money to hunt a huge farm that has employees run trail cams and keep 💯 tabs on the mature deer and where they are all season.
These big TV show guys show up and 90% of the work is already done and they just decide which stand has the most active buck that would make the best footage.
We thought these dudes were kings of hunting back in the 80's and 90's but we know now without all the scouting and prep done by an employee on a bug farm.... most of them would fail miserably....
The big secret they had was they were hunting where someone else was doing all the work. They show up with cameras and within a hunt or two they pull the trigger....
      The secrets out !!! Lmao

Lots of Hater-Aid being drank on this video. I hunt in a club with thousands of acreages and never share. When asked what I saw my reply is “a doe and button head”! I also hunt suburban area beside my house and again I don’t share. The deer even though are use to the sound of people, know better than to get to close to said sound hints me using same tactics in suburban as I do in rural leading to a nice 130” bow kill last season. Even though it’s obvious I’ll say it, hunting is hunting no matter where your spot is. Deer don’t get big by being dumb!

I have found in my 55 years of hunting. These days most of the great big buck hunters are hunting. Suburban areas, Land trusts, conservancies and parks. That ar “Public” land but are usually closed to hunting. But are open for hunting when the deer population needs thinning. I have seen areas open to hunting where 3 weeks earlier you could practically feed them out of your hand. Each his own. But to me it’s a joke.

I don’t really give this guy much credit cause he’s essentially hunting a non pressured “pet” so to speak. But he has his own way of doing it which I do respect to an extent. I’m not a “hater” I just don’t really think what he does it all that hard. Other than staying on someone to gain access to the property and essentially to the deer. He’s good at gaining the access. As far as strategizing to kill the deer, I don’t really think he’s that great at.
On a different note, I wonder if he knows giving away these secrets on how to gain access to these properties is hurting him in the long run. Especially when a lot of people know exactly the cities where he’s hunting. I’d be a lot more secretive on giving out that sort of information. But every time I hit the woods I try to learn something new, evaluate and adjust. That’s part of the fun. Figure out what works for you. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Once I stopped sitting in the same tree stand over and over again, is when I actually started to learn a lot about deer. Think outside of the box, and try some unorthodox spots and tactics.
