      It’s probably easier to travel solo in the Iraqi Kurdistan region for sure. The checkpoints are a lot less intense and they’re more familiar with foreign tourists.

      That’s actually quite rich way of living in the towns of Kurdistan. I doubt they live like that normally. Their breakfast was richer than normal because of hospitality culture.

Which means guest-worshipper, because we love to have to guest over so we can feed them and just show them a good time. I love my people. I wish we could have our country back.     bit of a weird question....how do you handle a toilet situation? you can just find yourself a tree and do your thing or go the bushes for a number 2 (in case you are traveling ofcourse), How do the koerdisch and iraqi's deal with that? what is acceptable for them?

      All restaurants, mosques, and cafes will have them etc. Some in rural areas will be squat toilets but as long as you’re okay with that you shouldn’t have an issue.

      @@JasonBillamTravel but Eastern Turkey is no problem and security a place. İ suggest to visit Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Van, Kars maybe Erzurum cities.
