Lot of variables there, if I can I park into the wind while dialing in the pressures and/or garden hose spray a little mist into the condenser. Haven't worked on anything later than 2017. I know they are finicky.

@@JSFGuy having a nice wind hitting the front of your vehicle would be ideal
Water provides too much cooling preferably want a 85° or 95°F day with a nice strong sun

@@coldfinger459sub0 True that... Many years ago we have an AC shop dedicated and they had a box fan and 1500 RPM, that was definitely legacy systems.

@@JSFGuy to get somewhere close to reality conditions trying to mimic a vehicle going down the road at 35 miles an hour
You need one of those large fans that are 3 to 4 feet in diameter that are capable of putting out anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 CFM
That you can put about three or 4 feet in front of the car passing Air so it’s constantly pushing air under the car and over the hood

@@coldfinger459sub0 Right, so that is still a thing? (Input conditions) We heard it was 30 mph so either way definitely airflow and RPM. Also had air on recirc or max with the doors open so it didn't pull under hood heat into the cowling. Not too terribly critical, just set up for success.

@@JSFGuy some car manufactures the way the air flows and heats up through the condenser and radiator the engine, the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter you can record temperatures up to 140°F entering the cabin air filter into the blower over the evaporator. That is way too hot to perform any kind of test at all whatsoever. Give the technician a false unacceptable higher than ordinary, low side, pressure and higher high side pressure.
And the only way to verify this is by dropping a temperature sensor directly at the point of the intake of the blower fan itself into HVAC case
That’s why to truly test the system the hood must be closed not open in Fresh Air mode

What is the flush kit for? What was it doing there?

@@hisautorepair124 I have several flush kits for different purposes.
I have a flush kit that is filled with high-pressure nitrogen just because it’s small and portable. I’m doing a nitrogen, purge and vacuum flush a few times to help reduce moisture content in the system.
I have a kit that is filled with hundred percent alcohol .
That I use to clean out the residue oil out of my gauges I just push it into the tip of the yellow charging hose and add 140 psi allow the alcohol to flow through the gauge manifold and out of the high side and low side hose ends
It was 600 dry nitrogen to blow out the alcohol . Throw vacuum pump and dry out the hoses and manifold.
I have flush guns that are filled with different refrigerants .
When I decide I want to do a quick leak test with refrigerant system that came in empty . I decided not to use nitrogen.. or I wanted to use both lighter and faster to pick up a small flush kit filled with refrigerant. Then picking up a 30 pound cylinder.
I have a flush gun filled with AC flushing solvent . in case I need it while I’m working with one of my shops and they have a dirty component or something that I suspect might be dirty condenser to prove it flush it backwards. into a clean paper looking for particles.
Then I use high-pressure dry nitrogen to get the rest of it out of there and then vacuum.
