My band opened for Dillon Francis in Santa Cruz. In that we played first at a festival he headlined… got to talk with him a bit, and didn’t realize who he was. At no point was he like “yeah, I’m the headliner of this huge festival.” Just had a chill conversation about nothing in particular. I don’t like dance music, but I am a fan of him as a person after that interaction.

I’ve always liked his music but never loved it. He came up with Skrillex and other edm djs. He expressed his comedic side with lil story sketches on his Snapchat pre-TikTok. Now he collabs with both artists for music and comics for skits and bits. His personality is definitely what keeps me being a fan of him.

Holden seems to be the Chevy of Australia (literally and image wise) and used for drag racing and all sorts of stuff, even now. Kinda crazy they were so resistent when thats what they were known for - a non-JDM, domestic sporty brand afaik. But alas, as someone who is american but digs some of their cars (the G8, the Utes tho Suburus is even cooler etc) its sad they are no more.
