I am gonna release the video about endgames on Sunday! :) For now, I would recommend you start with this one: ruclips.net/video/8ehkiNTVvOs/видео.html (amazing rooks endgame you will enjoy a lot :)
Hi , i am around 600 elo and for black i play kings indian and for white i play london system, is it good for beginners or bad , if bad what opening should i learn for black and white?
@@deepthikonjeti5732 Hi! At this point, it's not so important which exact opening you will play. Try to focus on the key opening principles instead. Also, on understanding the key ideas of the openings you play.
Don't sacrifice in a great position if you are not sure it's winning. There is a high chance to spoil everything! After Qc5 white can play e3 and I don't see any good follow-up/compensation for black
As a 1000 rated player my thinking is usually this: - Get out two pawns, knights, then bishops, then castle and bring rook to center or start to advance pawns/queen - Prioritise moving knights/bishops if they can be developed with making a threat - Create threats with the queen on the pawns that are above the opponents knight so they can't get their bishop out - Start aligning pieces with opponent king or queen so they are under threat once the pawns are gone - On lower rated players they appear to be blind to distant threats so put your bishop tucked away in opposite corner to their king, then attack with the queen later for a quick checkmate If anyone can add their thinking who is 1200-1500 that would be great what am I missing here? Apart from don't blunder, is it all about just seeing all the threats and oppportunities with every move more clearly to better decisions can be made?
@@JB-ip7vr interesting list! Have you seen my video "how to play better than 99% of chess players"? I go there from start to finish and explain what to focus on. I think it might be helpful for you.
Perfect miniature!. I only found d4 because you suggested to pause the vid. Otherwise, in a real game, I Would have played any other one 😂. Thanks & Regards
Good question! I forgot to mention it in the video. I sacrificed the pawn to get a huge lead in the development. I would play Be6 and bring all of pieces in the attack while he is busy eating my pawns :)
@@journeytograndmaster I was a 1500 but from Thursday my ELO has been going down I am in a loosing streak Openings I go with Carro Kann or KID for black For white I try KIA or Scotch game BUT I am not so good with the middle games in terms of tactics…I can push a game to go on but I will be stuck with no plan Can you please help with what I need to do etc
I see. At this point, it's more important for you to focus on applying the general key opening principles rather than diving too deep into the opening theory

5:20 we can sacrifice the rooks for bishops or knights to end the game before the end game.(against weaker opponents)
Yes, if you get the initiative for it and can create real threats
I want to better at endgame, any training you want to suggest sir??

I am currently 1400 rated and my goal is to reach 1600 by the end of november , is this goal rational?
Online?
@@journeytograndmaster yes
@@journeytograndmaster its day 11 and i have already reached 1500
When you initially moved his White Queen from B4 to B3 he could have taken your Black Pawn on D4- is that correct, thank you, I'm trying to learn
yes, he could. I sacrificed the d5 pawn to get even more lead in the development. Unfortunately, forgot to mention it in the video, thanks!

8:55 What do you think about Kf2 at this point instead, sacrificing the knight for the pawn, then Qc5 possibly?

That's why I insist on starting with checks, captures, and threats :)

Hello friend. "afraid of My king"? "for My King" sounds much better. (play on!)
Hi! Oh, I automatically thought it's always "afraid of". Good point, thanks!
why not WQb3 x d5 forking BNe4 and BNc6?
Your C3 pawn hangs with a check, no?
Thank you 🙏

What happens if I play the caro-kann, which is an opening with slow development?
It would be more difficult to win fast for you but still possible. What's your rating?

Why not just (white) castle at 15:19?
but the bishop is hanging on e3, no?
