this used to be the Lucky Dragon an Asian-themed casino hotel hence all the red windows and red theme all over the place; red is lucky.

I originally booked to stay there. I didn't cancel yet. I also booked the Mandalay Bay. I heard it is very clean. Not so sure of the location. So glad you did this review.
Definitely more to do at Mandalay Bay area, for sure. But since the purposes of these videos in my travels is to show properties with rooms under $100.00 a night, I probably will never be able to do a video from Mandalay, lol.
Mobster Tony Spilotro Gold Rush jewelry store was tore down to build that Hotel !! The Gold Rush Jewelry store was in the movie Casino
Yes it was. Too bad they could not have moved that building to another location. Corporate Vegas I guess does not care about that history

I didn't know you stayed there the day before me. I had the 2 queens room 306, not the greatest view. but really nice hotel, I spent 4 nights at that shithole Arizona Charlie's before booking here, i'm still wondering if I brought back moths from there it was disgusting!
Did you stay at the Arizona Charles on Boulder Hwy. I have never even been in the casino there
@@LoneWulfRick yes it's not a good place, the hotel is filthy moth ridden room and the casino is either locals and or homeless who sit at the entrance looking for handouts. it was cheap but the room was filled with bugs and moths, never again!
That red tint might be a little annoying if you had to get some work done in the room during the day. What do you think? Nice room overall though for the price!
I have a dinner video that I will post tomorrow. You will see your point about the red in the room. I closed the drapes. Problem solved. But it was a nice room, 9.0 rating
@LoneWulfRick Does Ahern charge early check-in? What time did you check in? Parking and resort fees?
No resort fees, free parking. They charge for early check in, late check out. I would bet price varies due to occupancy. The clock in video slowed 3:30 so guessing I checked in a couple minutes before that
Great content but you need to work on a couple things. Slow down when you’re filming. It will make the video smoother. Also stand a little further away from what you’re filming. It’s hard to see what you are trying to show. Again, I like the content. You just have a couple technical issues. Thanks!
