All I could remember was the animation; there was one scene where the dinosaurs looked realistic and it blew me away.
All I remember is the T Rex walking through town
John Goodman was like the go-2 kid’s movie actor back in the day
The only scene I remember was at the end, where the villain gets killed by his own birds.
And that scene used to creep me out when I was a kid.
that’s the only part that was good
When I was a kid, I kept trying to feed animals cereal, because this movie made me think cereal made animals smart.
Its the only good part of the movie, not just because of how disturbing the idea of being eaten alive by birds is, but because the camera work, the lighting, its all very artistic and dramatic, a kind of filmmaking totaly absent from the rest of the movie
Yeah. I could barely remember anything else from that movie (I even forgot the clown exist), but that scene still in my head until today
The best part of the movie was the deleted footage of Malvokich trying out for the role of Screweyes and saying
"Since that day, I've known that the world makes no sense, *and have acted accordingly* "
It was the “skip it” movie for me as a kid when Cartoon Network theater was on.
It was not made by Don Bluth, but most of his 90's films were so batshit crazy that I can understand the confusion.
Wait.. what??
Bartok maybe crazy, but he ain't batshit crazy.
Look no further than Rock a Doodle
It should have been good, it had all the ingredients a children film needs to be good: 1- dinosaurs, 2- a shocking villain death scene, 3- there's no 3, that's the only things you need
Too back the production was hectic because Steven Spielberg had too many projects in mind.
We're Back had some big name voices. John Goodman, Walter Cronkite, and the woman who voices Lisa Simpson and holy moly it's distracting when you realize it.
*UNholy moly, more like it
🎶ROLL BACK THE ROCK TO THE DAWN OF TIME🎶
AND SING THIS SONG WITH ME
Literally only memorable part of this is the bird scene.
Iunno, I at least liked the Roll Back the Rock song.
...That's all I can say.
There's a scene where the dinosaurs are on parade or something and that's all I remember about that movie. It wasn't terrible.
not great, not terrible
Did it's job for me as a kid. It wasn't good, I could tell, but the animation was and the villain death scene was a a 30 seconds masterpiece
The character that just sounds like Lisa Simpson, and it was very distracting.
Also, the kid that lives on some sort of weird raft thing in NYC?
Wtf was up with that?
The whole movie was some sorta fever dream.
Oh yeah, I forgot that Yeardley Smith (Lisa Simpson herself) was in this movie.
It's so depressing that the only good dinosaur movie is Jurassic Park. Other than Walking with Dinosaurs or Prehistoric Planet, which are educational documentaries, we have no good dinosaur films beyond JP1.
And this came out in the same year as the original Jurassic Park movie.
The first Land Before Time is solid.
Only good thing really is the villain. Also gotta love that yeardley smith is also in this, and she doesn’t even try to do another voice, so it’s just Lisa Simpson again.
These cooky characters are hitting the big city this July!
Before Don Bluth passes, I want him to make the third Goofy Movie : Bluth Returns
how dare you
i think about this movie every year at least 3 times for reasons i will not disclose
My favorite part is when the Lisa Simpson kid says “no please, don’t let bad happen” and you’re genuinely not sure if the actress flubbed a line or if it was intentional
Awe I remember this film from when I was a wee lad
Having recently put this on again for my own kid, I will agree whole heartedly that it isn't remotely a good film
We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story is worst forgettable.
I literally remembered it existed. Then I watch a video, and was like “wow,
That’s interesting premise, probably writing wasn’t good” - and then scene proceeded to go for 3 minutes, that felt like 10.
Dude, We're Back A Dinosaur's Story was great when I saw it as a kid, but now, looking back it wasn't as good as I remember.
That movie horrified me as a kid
…as an adult it horrifies me even more! XD
*Ok people, which movie is more unhinged:*

- Rock-A-Doodle
- The Pagemaster
- James & The Giant Peach
- Rover Dangerfield
I remember that movie because I used to go to a summer camp at a children’s Museum and it was the only movie they would play when our parents would come to pick us up
You dissin’ against We’re Back movie? That’s a shameful. Saberspark won’t like you’re opinion. And from Red Letter Media of still hating Star Wars.
What, did you get a hair in your drink when you watched it? Or was the room too cold? Did the hero look like someone you didn't like?
