Great work this week! So silky smooth and the food looks so amazing! Really nice intro. Lighthouses are the best! That oyster bar looked amazing! What a great experience!
Thanks, Portland is such an awesome city. Did you get any jerkiness on your end of the video? I watched on my computer and seemed to flow well but, when I watched it on my TV it seemed like it stuttered at times.
Another great, informations tour! I really love the Portland Head Lighthouse - most lighthouses in general are so fascinating to me. Thanks for sharing the links to all of the places you visited as well, so helpful!
Thanks, although when I watched it earlier on my TV it seemed choppy on some of the B-Roll. Wasn't like that on my computer. Did you notice any of that?
Wow quite fascinating view of the city. Nicely you have summarized where to go and eat, will be helpful for many. Yummy food as always in your video :)
Very interesting city I like the lighthouse too. Great presentation. The food looks very tasty, I also like the winery but the brewery is the best place for me because I like beer a lot.😀🍺🍺🍺 Have a nice day
Hey man I’m British and I’m going to be visiting Portland with my family this summer it will be my first time in the US and I can’t wait, Cheers for the video
I am so thankful for your videos. I am living in NC and I am planning to move to Maine, but I am not able to move yet due to family responseablities. I can't wait to be there myself. Your Vlog helps me
The lighthouse is beautiful! I think that would have been my favorite stop, but it's tough to choose a favorite! The food & wine looked delicious, and the city and shoreline views are stunning! Great video!
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon the one at the very beginning! I loved the bright contrast of the white lighthouse against the rocky shoreline! It is a beautiful view! You called the the “Portland Head Lighthouse” in Fort Williams
That was super amazing to experience with you! So much to do there! Wedee has actually been there once, but didn't get to do as much like you because he was with a tour group for dance! Love the lighthouse and all of the amazing food that you ate. Enjoyed your whole video, but would definitely recommend you putting time stamps in the video. It will definitely help people when they are searching for specific things and you feature it in your video. Also personally love the Gelato and Oysters, but that's probably nota good combo.
As always, love the enthusiasm! Thanks for the wonderful lighthouse tours with historical facts. Your food review descriptions are so great I can almost taste the food!
Yet again, you find yourself in an incredible coastal town with some mouth-watering eats and beautiful cityscapes! That really is a wonderfully authentic little lighthouse, somewhere you could easily find a novel written bout it! Nothing better than ending the day with a little booze tasting too! Great work as always!
We used to vacation in Higgins Beach near South Portland. Unfortunately, we never went into Portland. I think I need to plan a trip there in the near future. Portland looks really nice. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos always take me to the part of the world you’re visiting. I am a sucker for coastal destinations and lighthouses so Portland hits the market. (The only Portland I know is in Oregon 😅) Well done buddy. Cheers, Eddie
So after visiting Portland, I love the “local” energy, Maine helping Maine and not big corporations. I do love the locals energy too. It’s all part of it. I’m sure ya’know. Would love to do my part. What’s your connects info? 😂😂
great video - love all the lighthouses and immediately was taken by all the red brick buildings straight away. just to let you know the video isnt working 100% as it should - i sniffed as hard as I could but could not smell the blueberry aroma from the blueberry wine at all
For those of you who are after the primo picture of Portland Head Light, I hope these instructions help. After you have parked, with the lighthouse on your left, climb upon the white-washed remnants of the fort and look at the grassy meadow in front of you (the portable outhouses are right below). The flat-grassy meadow ends on the south side (your right). Look for a 1 foot wide path on that end which cuts toward the cliff. I hope this link works www.google.com/maps/@43.6208202,-70.2093603,54m/data=!3m1!1e3 . Do you see that shallow-v shaped path, pointed towards the left-bottom corner your screen? Look for that path and follow it. It will lead to a rocky promontory from which you can (I hope) get a good picture. By the way, the parking lot used to be just a dirt and gravel field and was free. Well, the leaders of Portland smelled a gold mine, paved it over and started charging for it. Remember your car license number and buy your parking ticket at the slender-tall permit machine (credit card only, last time it was a couple of bucks for two hours). Wonderful video!
I took a look at the link. The path is right in the middle of the screen, way narrower (about a tenth) of the main walking path which is going from bottom left to upper right. The path is a somewhat vertical, shallow v.

@Adventures Of A Traveling Don It's my pleasure 😉
You really do manage to find the sweetest coastal spots! They never fail to amaze me .... that lighthouse was the most picturesque thing ever!
Isn't it? It's one of prettiest Lighthouses I've ever seen.
Very interesting city I like the lighthouse too. Great presentation. The food looks very tasty, I also like the winery but the brewery is the best place for me because I like beer a lot.😀🍺🍺🍺 Have a nice day
I agree, beer is king!
Very enjoyable video with some good editing. I like the way you explain the food. Blueberry Cab Sav? Yes please!
Very unique but, it is Maine. They put blueberry in everything up here

You are gonna love it. Make sure to prep for both warm and cool weather. Also rain. Summer is odd in Maine and rather short.
I love the lighthouses and I'm a huge fan of blueberries! 😋
I also alway like railroads. Nice walk. 😁
Thanks! Portland is definitely a great city to explore.
Love love love Portland! Next time you are there and need a snack, Holy Donuts is the place to be!

Those are horrible looking sardines. Try a brand called Granadaisa and you'll never eat any other brand of sardines... ever.
I'll have to check it out.
