The reverse over the edge of the canyon at the beginning of the flight was a great reveal. You had a beautiful day to fly. LIghting was stellar over the canyon and the river-all under a heavenly blue sky.
Hi Marcus, nice flight in the Canyon with your Air 2s, thank you for sharing. The Air 2s has an SDK were the free Maps Pilot Pro app with WebODM lets me use my Air 2s for mapping. 3D mapping the Canyon would be so cool. The only thing I would wish for in the Air 2s is a longer flight time.
Another great flight. Lower flights sometimes make the views spectacular. Someday I have to get out there and fly the canyon with you. Such a great place to fly!

I'm always amazed at the scale of that canyon Marcus, so huge and deep. In my county the highest spot is 50' above the lowest. Thanks for another beautiful video!

Don't have the Air 2s but have the Mavic Air 2. The same drone except the camera and the 2 extra sensor but the body is the same and i really enjoy it!!! I also have the Mini 2 so no need to upgrade!!! 👍100
Your channel is my favorite laid back drone flying on YT . Very smooth flying, like sitting in a helicopter. You have the best spot ever. The video quality on he Air2 S is insane :). That Landing was fire!
I've researched and discussed with DJI the 7 meter vertical ascend for precision landing on drones released since 2019. They told me that there is no need to pause at any point. Simply stay vertical for at LEAST 7 meters before flying horizontally. Simple and works 100% of the time for me.

Beautiful surroundings it is there anyway. However, I regularly see the propellers in the picture like black shadows. That is due to the very high shutter speed of your camera when you do not use ND filter in bright sunlight. With me an ND4 or 8 is often enough. I fly standard with an ND4 just to protect the camera lens and is sufficient to avoid the propellers shadows.

Hya Marcus, and I flew the X5 again today using the second battery. I do not enjoy so much heat anymore so I took 2 days to get that done. I only work 2 days a week now as I do not need to do a lot anymore as I am partly retired now. At 76 it is time to take life a little easier and have more fun. The price of my home is so much right now I am tempted ro sell and get out of the US to build a new home in another country and totally retire. Housing here in Florida is getting insane with the unreal demand with families arriving and no building because of items to build a home now. I feel safe here being in this state but I feel there is a storm coming in all the illegals and do not want to wind up in a place like Seattle, NYC, or Chicago but I know it will come. What I went through to bring my wife & son here to the US and what I see happening now is truly terrible and the piper needs to be paid. NOT ME,,,,,

I was actually out with one of my older drones the JJRC Pro x5 Epik.
It was amazing to see that old antique bird take to the air. HHAHAHAHA

I've just got the air 2s love the drone but got a firmware update issue saying incompatible Gimbel IMU data. Great video and beautiful landscape

The RC Pro is the very best controller. With four antennas nothing else can touch it. Thank you!
