DJI Mavic 3 Pro Flight on the Edge of the Snake River Canyon!

- This flight with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro began at the very edge of the Snake River Canyon. I flew along the rim to Dedication Point and beyond. We used the tele cameras on the Mavic 3 Pro to get a look at the Swan Falls Dam. It was a pleasant day to fly!

Black foam pads on black backgrounds has happened to most of us. Don't feel bad, but I had to laugh. Manufacturer should provide a check list of all packaging as well as the photos. The pad in the camera cavity should be contrasting color. You continue to provide valuable tips, techniques and information.....and entertainment. Thanks

Dressing a wee but light, for JANUARY IN IDAHO, eh Marcus? This can only mean one thing! You drove the DeLorean up to SRC... and got that baby up to 88 MPH! Too bad Mavic 3 Pro doesn't go 88 MPH, but that's okay..it goes plenty fast, and has a whole LOT of tricks in it's repertoire. They developed the Flagship to do so many things well! I really need to stop the jibberjabber and get my Mavic 3 Pro bird IN THE AIR!

You should add some yellow stickers/tape/paint on that outside of that foam piece so it catches your attention. Snake river canyon is majestic :)

Nice flight Marcus! Don’t you agree that when you fly the Mavic 3 pro, you realize that it’s literally a world-class drone. All of the other drones are good, but the Mavic 3 is excellent!

I forget to take those foam pieces out also, but usually before I get even ten feet up I get a gimbal error. I surprised you never got that error warning. I eventually stopped using the foam piece with the Mavic 3, and have no issues since. Great flight, the canyon looked beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I've watched about all of your videos Marcus for the last several years. I have noticed and I don't think many have that since the chip shortage the precision landings have been hit or miss. I have an older Mavic Air 2 that was of course before the chip shortage and I'm not pulling anyone's leg, it has never missed a precision landing. I've wondered if the original chipset they couldn't get and still may not be available was more accurate! Another great flight. I enjoy them all. I'm just an old KY fan here. Keep em coming.

Those tire tracks at about 12:20 in the video look a little too close to the edge for me.😮

I have a hard time getting my air2 to do a precision landing. Sometimes it works other times no? Still lands very close even without. Any hints to make it work more reliably.

Great Fright Marcus, Beautiful Shots! That M3Pro sure has a powerful gimbal i was surprised as well you didnt Gimbal Motor Overload Warning. Don't feel bad man I still have that foam piece but i stopped using it on my Air 3 for the same reason. I forgot to remove it several times, it always gave a warning tho. Mavic 3 pro is a beast no doubt.

@@hikinganddroneThe mavic2 pro is on the faa list as compliant so it shouldn’t need a module, it should just be a firmware update and you are good to go.
