@jeffethanjovie Hiya, Yes, you can definitely hook up a keyboard via the instrument input on VoiceTone Synth. This product has seperate buttons on the front panel for manually selecting key and scale type (if you are not using an instrument). Please do be aware that VoiceTone Synth does not have a midi I/O. The connection of your keyboard would have to be completely audio and not midi. Best wishes, Joey @ TC-Helicon
@921AV Hiya, Both of the pedals you mention would make a great companion for the Harmony-G. For general effects covering all geners the Create XT would be an excellent choice. However - if you are after extreme vocoding and hardtune then the Synth would be the perfect fit. Best wishes, Joey @ TC-Helicon
@timmyotull Hiya, Unfortunately the Vocoder is not contained within VoiceLive 2 (it's the only effect that isn't). However, you can get great results by chaining VoiceTone Synth and VoiceLive 2 together and if you want this sort of effect it is definitely worth trying out. Best wishes, Joey @ TC-Helicon
on the new version, can you control how hard it corrects? like the speed? so its not that extream efx, where its an un-noticible efx. but it still puts you in perffect pitch?

Just got the VT synth, quick question can I connect the output directly to an external speaker using XLR female to Aux 3.5mm without an Amp? Appreciate ur help
Josh Mason There's a whole ton of considerations made when discontinuing a product and the decision is never made lightly. We're not really at liberty to go into that discussion, but the good news is that there can still be units available even after discontinuation, plus support is guaranteed for years after purchase. If you can find one, it would still be a great unit to have.

@94bublegum Hiya, Absolutely! The VoiceTone Synth is great for those "hard tuning" type effects.
Best wishes,

I'm new with this, what kind of cable do i need to hook up my guitar to the voicetone synth & to my amp?
thanks!
so can i use this as autotune like in those bands that use autotune?

The speaker would need to have an amplifier. We don't provide any kind of speaker level output on any of our products.
Why did this have to be discontinued? :( this is exactly what I need. And the product is rated 5 stars...why stop production?...
