Scientists Capture Footage of Fish 27,000+ Deep

  • This footage shows the deepest fish ever recorded on camera, in a Japanese trench 8,336 meters (27,349 ft) deep - more than 5 miles deep, in other words.
    According to Reuters, the video was taken as part of a 10-year research expedition by the University of Western Australia and the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology to study the deepest fish in the world.
