- Brace yourselves, for today, we are going to be Vikings! Join me as we visit one of the most extravagant Viking heavy metal/pagan-folk festivals in the world. If simply that is not enough to be awesome, the festival is taking place right on top of the ancient burial mounds of Viking kings and queens from 1400 hundred years ago! Come on this mysterious journey with me as we walk Midgardblot together.

Ah, I was hoping Grimfrost would make an appearance. They started their Hird (whom you see sparring there in the holmgang ring) in 2020. Their goods are also absolute exquisite, I'm a proud honor of a small handful.
Edit: I should've mentioned that the man in the blue tunic officiating is one of their founders. He's a smith with 30 years of experience behind him.

You should definitely go! It’s tons of fun and it happens yearly! This year it’s from August 16-19, and it’s always at the same place- Borre Mounds. Here is a link to this year’s event! ☺️
