CF pieces look great. I am contemplating those same pieces. My favorite CF addition, for my C8, were the door speaker grills. Great job as always.

I like it. And you are spot on about it being like tattoos. I've added carbon fiber to the interior of my 1972. It really changed the look.

I did the hole centre console looks great, actually i did 4k or 5k worth in c8 made the interior way better looking.go to e-bay type in c8 carbon fibre you can customize your interior with all the options, and just now they have all parts in carbon fibre plastic wich is just as good for way cheaper than what i spent.Surprisingly the parts fit very good with each other
I definitely want to do the center console as well. I’ll probably wait for EOS so that all my carbon fiber weaves look the same. Plus I like their quality. Not saying the other isn’t good though.

I’m trying not to go down the carbon fiber rabbit hole with my C8 like I did with my C5Z.
If I go forward with my C8Z when my number comes up, I’ll reconsider because that one would definitely be a keeper.

Looks great! So how did you get the power cord for your ProClip underneath the dash to the 12v power adapter? Seemed all was blocked for me.🤷🏽♂️
We had to tuck it in. It’s hard to explain but I think I need to do a video because several people have asked.
@@FrontSeatDriver please do. I thought I could go down behind the screen drivers side which I did and it seems like there should be a way to go over to the 12v side but I couldn’t. Tried a wire but nah, not happening. I currently have it going o er the wall of buttons at the top and going down to the 12v which is not my preferred method

nextgen..? If you decide to just go with it or shifters, FYI, you Do Not have to remove your steering wheel to change them out. ✌🏼

I would also like the steering wheel but since I may not be keeping this car long term I may hold off on that due to cost.

I'm wondering how hot carbon fiber pieces get in the sun for those with a HTC and carbon fiber where you'd rest an arm.
That’s a good question. I’m not actually sure. I guess I can see how hot some of my other CF facing up gets. I think the arm rest is one spot I’m not going to do though. I am not sure I like it. I love it by the mode selector though.

No. I changed the original title of the video. In the video I mention how carbon fiber is like tattoos. I’m personally not going to just toss some random chick onto a thumbnail for clicks. It needs to have a connection as this originally did.
