Oh damn, I forgot about my earlier comment about surrealist films. To be honest, I have since come to terms with the fact that they just don’t work for me personally and I can’t get into them no matter how hard I try. However, I don’t think surrealist films are bad by any means. Although, since writing the comment, I have seen The Wolf House which I did love (although maybe I only loved it because it had underlying themes revolving around Colonia Dignidad). Either way, I’m glad that you understood my Dawn of the Dead opinion as I’ve been wanting to get that off my chest for months now I was also pleasantly surprised by how many opinions in this video I actually agreed with. Usual Suspects is indeed mid I also cheered when Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory got some recognition
My unpopular opinion: While Criterion is sort of considered the top tier boutique label, if it wasn’t for their influence they’d be C-tier compared ti Second Sight, Radiance, and Vinegar Syndrome. They’ve rested on their laurels for quite awhile.
Damn. I will agree that some shots are timeless, but I feel that the film's amazing atmosphere is honestly held down by amateurish decisions. I feel like most people judge TCM of what it *could* have been rather than what it is in practice. I respect your opinion though. Also, you're probably not going to ever need to say my name again, but it's "full-jehn-zee" since my name is a pun off of Ailurus fulgens (scientific name of the red panda) and my demographic (Full-Gen-Z).
I still stand by the fact that avatar 1 has aged HORRIBLY. Also, another unpopular opinion for next time - Killers of the flower moon SUCKED. It was way too long and didn’t really tell the story of the Osage justice.

I was also there on opening day for the TFA, and i did love it at the time, but as it's aged, it's sort of gone down in my rankings, so that's why it ended up in that opinion 🤷♂️ but hey, it doesn't mean i don't love the movie, i just think it could of done with some tlc Thanks again for the inclusion 🤣
Seeing as you enjoyed my opinions I'll give you some more 1 Chris Pratt is actually a good voice actor he just miscast in most of his voice acting roles. 2 2005 war of the worlds is Steven Spielberg most underrated film and has aged incredibly well 3 Live action musicals will always be worse than animated musicals as animation allows for more creative visuals for songs than live action case in point live action remakes. 4 James mangold is an underrated director who only has one really bad film the new Indiana jones.
Unpopular opinions 1. 2001 A Space Odyssey, Goodfellas, and TDK despite being their directors most popular work aren't in the top 5 best from any of them, they have all made so much better movies, Their great but definitley not the best. 2. Heat sucks I genuinley don't understand why people consider it a masterpiece when it has some of the most drawn out plot points and just straight up has scenes and plot points that arent needed and make the movie so bloated in an awful way, I think 3. Batman Begins >>> TDK, Heath Ledgers Joker is amazing but Batman Begins had much more substance, also the way Gotham was portrayed and how you could say it was the main antagonist of the whole movie was great. TDK completley dropped that and made it just Batman vs Joker and took away a lot from what made Begins so special 4. While Shawshank is one of my favourite films and I consider it masterpiece, it aint the best 1990s prison movie Stephen King adaptation directed by Frank Darabont, that goes to Green Mile!
