So happy to see epiphone back to a premium brand many of us waited a long time for this to happen thank you JC Curliegh where ever you are..and the one's complaining tuff and I suggest you go research the full history of epiphone before you open your mouth and stick your foot in it epiphone was never ever meant to be a budget brand in the first place and they weren't until Norlin ruined them when they took over Gibson..

When are we getting new acoustics from Epiphone?
I own a BC Rich Bich that has a pair of the DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers, 3 pots, 3-way switch, a chicken head knob for selecting the tone circuit and three mini toggle switches. The options for different sounds is overwhelming. I spend so much time experimenting with not only the controls on the guitar, but then the Helix and the Mesa Boogie Mk V head that it's all I accomplish. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun and some of the combos you can create with all three components are astonishing. But I do very little playing. I believe it's similar to the "paralysis by analysis" phenomenon. With this guitar, you ARE playing. Plug it into a single stomp box and into a simple amp and just jam. I love it! And it's a lot less than I expected. I was thinking it was in the $1200 range and was surprised at the $1000 price. All high end specs too. I must look into this further
There's a video of someone playing it through a Victory Super Kraken. If I had that setup, I think it'd be very hard to stop playing.
Cant take away from the cool factor of this guitar, but was really hoping for a Epiphone version of "Ole Red" JJN's 1953 LP.
Epiphone currently doesn't offer any single cut carved top 2 P90 guitars, I think OLE RED would fill that gap nicely.

new pickup and tuners. Not sure if the old ones had an ebony fretboard.
A lot of it is inflation. I'm guessing the newly-designed pickup may have something to do with it as well, although I'm not really sure.

Epiphone don't let Gibson put their headstock on any Epiphones we want our headstock to be epiphone and to say Epiphone not Gibson
Prices are where they should have always been. But can't stand the Gibson headstock on the greeny it should be epiphone headstock not Gibson
Wish the p90 was installed inside the body, also another p90 at the neck would make this probably the best guitar out there right now

It's called being a premium brand again epiphone was never meant to be a budget brand in the first place. Go buy something you can afford it's that simple the vast majority of us waited a long time for epiphone to be restored to a premium brand..
