- How to Make Gears of War cosplay chest armor out of Foam! In this series I will be creating Marcus Fenix's armor from Gear of War 1 & 2. In this particular video I am making the panels that cover the top of his chest armor as well as adding some leds. I do have free PDF templates of the chest armor available on my website if you'd like to make your own. In part I will continue this cosplay armor build by adding detail panels to the top.

I was pondering on embedding strong magnets somewhere on the back shoulder and adding some to the interior of a lancer prop I have to try and make a sleek way secure it to my back.

Hey my friend, I just wanted to let you know that your work is remarkable and that I am now building a Batman costume using your template, however I just purchased some Eva foam at my local michaels. Got all the sizes you reccomended and then I realized you use hd foam. This is basically my second time building something out of Eva foam.Would you recommended I use that for the armor?
Michael's foam is low density and honestly some of the worst I have tried to use. Just realize that it will dull your blades quicker and be much harder to have clean cuts and to sand smooth. Not all foam is created equal. That's why I created HD-Foam because I couldn't find anything out there that would make building easier for new builders as well as having the quality for pros
