    If im shooting Im wearing the g-shock. Its relatively cheap, light on the wrist, 200m of water resistance, practically indestructible and accurate to boot. Really can't beat it as a tool watch.

    Dude, I'm afflicted by the same addictions. I'm a Rolex guy . I own a 116610ln Submariner, a Datejust 41, and am on the list for a Batgirl GMT 2 as well.
    My latest acquisition is the large Santos de Cartier.
    As a beater watch I wear a GM 2100 half metal G - shock.
    My EDC is a glock 23, but I am an old IPSC shooter and love the 1911 platform. My other preferences are P series Sigs and S&W revolvers. My safe queens are an old variant 6 inch nickel plated Python and a 1957 National Match 1911 with a Royal Colt finish with a 2 digit serial number.
    I'm glad I found this video. It definitely struck a chord.
    Keep your powder dry and wear the watches you love in good health.

      The Cartier Santos is the epitome of class and function. Super comfortable and the strap change system is the best. I have the white dial but be warned, shiny bezel scratches easily…. There is a gray ADLC version on my short list. I would like A Rolex sub (no date) but my heart says Panerai Quaranta

    • @rafaeloliva6425
      @rafaeloliva6425 5 часов назад

      @paulbonaventura4969
      Congratulations on the Santos.
      The silver opaline is the best dial!
      Get yourself a Cape Cod cloth, and you won't have to sweat the bezel scratches.
      An occasional touch-up with the Cape Cod cloth and some Reninesance metal polish restores the bezel to mint condition.
      I went even further and found slightly used OEM stainless bezels at $45 a piece on eBay. I purchased 2 of the extra bezels ( my girlfriend has a Santos as well) as backups in case either one of the bezels gets any really damage.. Any jewler can swap them out (held on by 8 screws) with no problem .
      I hope this helps you enjoy your Santos care free and wear the watches you love in good health.

    I love at the end how he says, "You don't have to spend a lot."
    My favorite watch in my collection is my first automatic. A SKX007 that i bought myself as a present when i graduated my apprenticeship. Whenever i go abroad, that watch goes with me. It's been everywhere that i have and is just so special.
    My daily beater is my green rangeman. As i don't think an automatic would stand up to daily hammer swinging.

    As an old, soon to retire, LASD detective sergeant, I've carried what some term as expensive guns (Sig 226 and 229 Legions, Staccato P) 10-8 and on warrant services, and I wear my Rolex 16600 Sea Dweller 10-8 as well. Tool watch doesn't mean you beat it up, just like a gun is a tool as was mentioned in the video, you take care of it and you appreciate it. That said, working SAR I wore a Marathon GSAR for years and it carries the scars to prove it. But it runs like a champ, because I take care of it.

    I have 2 MTM special ops watches🔥🔥🔥 One is called the airstryke II, and the other is the Cobra 47. Originally saw em when deployed across the globe. They were worn usually by the middle eastern special operations guys and they loved them. I ended up getting one. Incredibly rare. Only 3 shops in the world sell em. One in Los angels CA, one is Kuwait and one in Jordan.
    I've only ever met one other person who wears an MTM here in the states and he was a translator for some special ops units that earned his citizenship here in the states. Man had it through all sorts of ops and I ran into him at work while he was getting it serviced. He had the patriot model.

Gonna have them confirmed as real or fake, then have them repaired and restored to start my collection! They both run just fine. Just missing a couple of external parts. My EDC and favorite pairing is my Ed Brown Kobra Carry with the orange-surround Trijicon front sight - and my OLKO Special Edition Steinhart Ocean GMT. Beautiful stainless steel...and the front sight on the pistol matches the orange GMT hand on the watch. 😎👍
    BTW....STEINHART is an incredible and little known brand. I have several that replaced my Rolexes! Not that they are better watches, but the prices on Rolex have gotten insane - while Steinharts are incredibly affordable. I switched over, pocketed tens of thousands of dollars, and never looked back. Love, LOVE my Steinies. It's a German company that produces high quality watches in Switzerland. Swiss movements, 316L stainless steel or titanium, sapphire crystals, great water resistance, solid end and center links, etc. All for about $500 to $800 bucks!

    Thank you for your videos mate.. . Crypto education is what the world needs the most right now. I don’t think that buy and hold is a valid investment strategy anymore. Not too diluted and to a degree, follows Sophia’s trading ideas and signal tips for your portfolio growth and aggressiveness. She is a woman who has not only taught me what the cryptocurrency trading world looks like but a secret to uplift my finance. Buying crypto and waiting for the price to shoot up is not the best way to invest in the market but buying and trading is. Sophia Haney’s trade signaIs does the heavy lifting, generating competitive returns for crypto traders and investors in the form of money and peace of mind. Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm! Within some months I was making a lot more money and have continued on that same path...

      I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience…

    Interesting...I'm a retired LEO and have the same watch as Greg, (Batgirl..Also bought mine for my 50th and for the same reasons with the colors)....I'm wondering if he's also sporting a G19 under his shirt? I'm of course, writing this while sipping a bourbon and smoking a cigar, after getting back from a drive in my 911, while of course, wearing my Piloti driving shoes 😆

    Tough watches: look to Sinn in Germany, their EZM3 is the watch of the GSG9, and Fortis in Switzerland for their pilots and certified cosmonaut self winding watches.

    You guys inspired me as you were nerding out. I bought a driver's watch with the tilted dial. Haven't worn a watch in 20 years.

    Everyone should have a microbrand watch or two. Nodus watches are great and regulated to +/-6 seconds per day if I remember correctly. One of my favorite brands is Borealis and specifically the Cascais model. I recently picked up a Borealis Bull Shark on eBay that ended up being +/-1 sec/day, currently running around +0.5-0.7s/d

      @@2Hats74 yea I think they’re still at the upper end of it, hasn’t quite broken out yet. I’ve wanted one of them but every time I consider getting one I just feel like saving for a Tudor Pelagos or Omega Seamaster. I recently got a Borealis Bull Shark V2 for a good price on eBay and it made me completely reconsider the Miyota line. I’ve been tracking it for three weeks. Most of the time it sits dial up at night (I’ve tried a bunch of the positions) but mixing on the wrist plus dial up has had it settle in at about +0.3-0.6 sec/day. It would gain 0.1 if I left it in another position at night. I need to true the time and measure it again doing dial only at night.

    Having a watch collection would be awesome but for me it's knives, swords, and black powder stuff, like powder horns. I think a really nice pocket knife is very cool! My watch is a Timex Expedition lol. Thank you and God Bless.

    Omega smp300s are also up there for me. The new ones a thing of beauty without breaking the bank. Kinda makes me think they’re like classic P series SIGs. Those Speedy’s and SMPs are legendary in their own right, can hang with the big boys, but don’t really have over inflated prices like Gucci 2011s. They have as good (SRT), if not better, triggers than other mass produced guns. The Swiss connection is a nice touch even if they have fad super popular affordable guns like the 320 just like the omega moonswatch, effectively paying homage to their flagship pieces.
