Well they approved IPL devices for type v and vi because of the lower IPL settings and combined used of either RF or galvanic light. This bypasses the skin tone issue and you won’t get burned. Some machines even scan your skin and automatically adjust the setting with each flash. I’m willing to try it.
@@sarahanderson6913 Sorry guys, I haven't gotten one. But whenever I read about it I am drawn to Silkn' Infinity. It is cleared for ALL tones on the Fitzpatrick Scale I - VI in the UK*, but in the US the same device Silk'n Infinity is only cleared for types I - V. Braun's Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5137 IPL would be my second choice and is cleared for Types I - V. But I encourage everyone to still do thorough research. What ? I live in France and I am doing laser hair removal for my legs. Maybe laser for black skin is not available in your country but you can speak for the whole continent. Where do you live btw ?
@@leila_de_hautjardin Sorry, I live in the country side. Not a lot of dark ppl here, either. ;) It's not a complaint, it was just a fact from my experience. Many of my black (darker skin) friends in Europe (Germany, Swtizerland, France, Spain) don't really trust the procedure that much yet. We'll see. Thx 4 the message.
I live in the Uk country side and we have laser clinic… I travel once every 6 weeks to London (nearest clinic) to have my session. I’m on session 6 out of 8 and it’s the best thing I have ever done to my skin (I’m doing underarm and Brazilian) I now regret not having done my legs at the same time. I reach the point where I only shave the day before my appointment due to the la k of hair! Imagine how cool to not have hair grow for 6 weeks!!
I went for a full bikini hair laser removal. When the lady saw my private parts, she didn't know it would be slightly darker than my body skin. 🥴 Instead of telling me no it won't work, she used me as an experiment seems like ... Also, it was spring time, I take allergy pills for seasonal allergies. Let me tell ya, my coochy was on 🔥🔥🔥 for several hours after the skin... I couldn't sit, I couldn't stand, no position could soothe me 😢 Basically she used IPL laser on dark skin and my skin was already sensitive because of allergy pills.. It was a Holy mess and traumatic 😵💫
If you got a good one it should come with a melanin reader which should tell you not to use it. Based on your picture you are a skin type 6 and it’s possible to get a burn
@@DeghaFongodMD lol I figured it out maybe one hour late! But is this option ok if you bleach after? What if you don't want to do intimate areas in the office omg 😳 😫 Lol

But regular laser is expensive and time consuming
Groupon everything girl, idk why it’s so underrated
@@browniiii I used it one time

let me know how it goes. this video is from 2020 so maybe tech has changed
How did it go? I'm considering trying it myself. I have a mocha complexion .
May I ask which IPL device you're using?

Is ipl at home safe in general? For light skin and dark hair?
Thx. Im not buying ipl. But also no paying for laser. I live in Europe, they don't have laser removal for dark skin yet.

There are even more laser clinics in europe for dark skin you must be living under a rock

What are permanent hair removal options for brown skin women because I need a solution not more problems
She literally said laser is best.
Another thing is who say laser just has one ray, it also cover some area of skin when it gives flash.
Good news everyone!! Fyi, the new "Ulike Air 10" has "2" lights and works on dark skin.😊👍
I have medium brown latin looking skin, it works so so
Fellow Latina here! Where would you place yourself on the scale at the end? I think I would be IV which she says she wouldn’t recommend it for😢💔
Tria is a targeted home laser treatment.... can you do a review on it for brown skin girls.
By any chance did you use tria?
What do you advise?
The music in the back is getting on my nerves!!! Lol. I can barely listen to the video.
sorry this was back when i didn't know how to make videos
@DrDeeMD lol okay no worries. Your content and what you actually spoke aboutis still good!
would it work to lighten hyperpigmentation if on a low setting?
So what would you recommend instead? Thank you.
Use ipl after wax next day u can get the results
Hi there I think I'm a level 3/4 skin color and planning to use ipl, is it safe for me a seventeen yr old to use it?
i cannot speak to the safety of these machines
Love your glasses

How do I find this mugen
Do you think laser is just as good for hair removal as ipl? My skin can lighten up if I stay out of the sun.
if you have dark (melanated skin) then IPL isn't an option. Its not about the shade of the skin but density of melanocytes in the skin.
She said laser not ipl, they’re different
I just bought one before coming across your video. What happens if I use it anyway? Will nothing happen or am I at risk of burning or scarring myself?

Although not good for hair removal on dark skin, is it at all recommended for smoothing skin or hyperpigmentation improvement?
I still don't understand the problem lol
