I'm running into the issue of them not letting me use my own name and graphics. I couldn't even use my name to sign up even though they pulled my info from Instagram.
I followed exactly the instructions you gave in more of your videos on what to write and say when applying on Amazon Merch...I got accepted! Thank you.
Can you please tell me how you got accepted, because recently I was rejected even though I follow every step to get accepted but still.. did you reapply with a changed email address or phone number?
Man, the most comprehensive and straightforward content I've ever come across. Not to mention the golden tip on which platforms to invest time and energy in. I'm Brazilian, and here in Brazil, the content tends to be a bit shallow. I've watched more of your videos and I'm already starting to put the teachings into practice. Thank you so much for sharing. I want to come back here to show you my results. Big hug!
Thank you for your information. I followed your advice, was rejected at first, contacted support about reapplying I heard from others recently, told there wasn't such an option but there's a possibility that they may decide to change their policy one day (no guarantee), asked them if there were any issues with my application, and was accepted after being reviewed by someone else. After fiddling with it, I did find a few issues: Apparently it takes an undetermined amount of time for the design to be indexed and searchable. The brand store is still not available and the design is set to public search, but needs the exact web address to find currently - Edit: it's visible if you're using a location of the listed market. I made some mockups, but there doesn't seem to be an option for submitting additional images. Not sure if that option is available in a later tier. And Canada doesn't seem to be a deliverable option (placed in the US marketplace as .ca wasn't available).
Good video but missing the how to part. Trying to find the "how to" set it up. I'm in an accepted but something is missing. It looks like an influencer only pages.
Something I had no idea is all accounts don't start at tier 10. I applied 8 months ago got denied. Then a month later I got an accepted email and never reapplied. I stared off at tier 1000. The only thing I can think of is I am an Amazon influencer on another RUclips Channel. Just figured this would be good to know.

Great insights and experience. I applied to Amazon MOD on a Thurs and got accepted 5 days later. Its really too bad there is no tutorial as to how to get your first few products in your store. It took a few hours to figure out how to narrow the upload down to the 2 products thats allowed to start. Then once you do; all hell breaks loose with what looks like your meager offering is all over the place and doesn't appear like what you uploaded. Its very confusing. Does anyone know of a more detailed guide or tutorial to clarify for newbies?
A huge issue I run into as a designer is the limitation of having my designs forced into a small box on the shirt! So frustrating as a creative designer does ANYONE please have a recommendation for ALL OVER PRINT (AOP) for Amazon merch on demand designing. Example would be having the design go down the sleeves or all the way up to the collar etc
I've been accepted and tried making shirts but it keeps asking what brand of shirt? I don't know where to set up the print on demand I guess? Dunno. Help please. Thanks
@GregGottfried Hi surprised by the size of the designs.. It seems huge. I know amazon reccommends that size, but can we have something smaller being accepted? I'm thinking 12 inches by 15 or something like that? Also, it seems to be the size of the "artboard" that needs to be that size versus the actual design's, correct? My text-only (often 1 word) would look add with the 4500 pix X5400 pix ratio... thanks
I have been following all of your videos and have learned allot for print on demand i am now ready to for Amazon understand now how to change the pixels to what amazon requires 4500 x 5400 in placeit but what i need to know is how to change the 96dpi to 300dpi please if can answer that it would be greatly appreciated
That’s awesome to hear! The dpi is actually not a requirement so you can leave it at 96 with no issues. They recommend 300 for the best possible printing quality, but it’s truly optional. I’ve bought samples printed at 72dpi and the print is still perfect 👍 I hope that’s helpful!
They have various kinds of t-shirts, tank top, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, PopSockets grip, tote bag, throw pillow, and iPhone cases (Samsung phone cases were canceled recently).
Only two weeks wait to find out if we're accepted or not... Good to know. I'm in Japan so assume I'll hit a bump filling out the tax part. We actually have a tax agreement with the IRS where we don't need to reveal our personal identity number due to privacy concerns. I'm hoping that it isn't an issue.
Why is it so hard to get approved? Once you are denied you can not use other emails. I tried it but they kept saying you already applied with that new email…wtf how do you get approved?
Greg I tried to sign up with a new account, but then it says I requested too many OTPs. It happened more than once. The question is that I don't know how to remove the mobile number from another account created for KDP. Maybe this way I will sign up. If there is any idea even from anyone. Thank you!
