I’ve cooked all these vegetarian dishes from Jamie’s books and they’re delicious. My only word of warning: if you’re trying the sweet leek carbonara, do not put as much water in as it says in the book - it says 400ml! Must be an error. Only put a drop in.The water never evaporates down in time and dilutes all the flavour you built up, and makes the sauce all soggy.

I really wish people would stop banging on about removing seeds from chilli's to lessen the heat - seeds are not spicy on their own that's a fact, look it up people! Or do a seed Vs chilli flesh test 😄
Sorry I don't mean to sound dumb but is the egg raw? I have never eaten carbonara because I always thought the egg was raw. I just couldn't eat a raw egg.
@@charlescharliejpeg more sustainable then eating meat I don’t think so! There’s people malnourished around the world who eat meat so not so clever argument. Lastly I’m not a vegan myself but why not facilitate for them? Are you so narrow minded only meat eaters should be catered to
I’m really bummed that I can no longer eat pasta dishes since my gastric surgery back in 2015… the only type I can eat without agonising pain afterwards are Gnocchi ; so initially I thought that it had something to do w/ the gluten in the flour or something like that - tried gluten free pastas, chickpea based pasta, red lentil based pasta = all the same… spaghetti/linguine/penne/lasagna sheets it doesn’t matter even a little bite causes excruciating pain in my stomach and not a single doctor/dietician can pinpoint the cause 😭 pasta is the only food I really really miss and there is no way to turn back the surgery ❤️🩹💔 if anyone reading my comment can give me any tips pls share ; it’s very much appreciated

True from here it definitely didn't look like 400 ml that he put in probably only 100ml.
