  • I have loved this game since I was very young and the bosses were so iconic to me. I still remembered all of their quotes after all of these years and this is a gem of a game.

    Damn I wonder how me and my friends even managed to beat this crazy game back in the 90's. And beating the last boss PERFECT?! I was sure that without TAS or save state it would be impossible. Great job.

      Thank you very much! It took hours and hours to to honestly it made me realize how great the slide can be and how if you don't use the i-frames on the balconies in the last fight you pretty much have to use the it. I didn't want to do the balcony way because I have seen too many people do that before. This way was totally worth it but a huge pain. Haha. Truly an amazing game.

    Sad they never made a sequel to this game.

    Wow me and my step dad beat this entire game at our nearest nick city and we wasted like 200 nickels on the whole game it's very challenging but you have mastered it.

      +MaTT DErp thank you for sharing your memories of the game. I used to play it with my brother all of the time growing up and I'll always remember those times. Also getting this game done with no deaths was worth it but it was indeed a huge challenge. Haha.

    It seemed so easy beating this game with my friend all the time! But playing on your own makes it a whole new challenge.
    People should use Boss 1/Simon Greedwell as practice for Richard Rose/the Final Boss. Similar principle/layout, just slower paced and nobody coming at you from lower angles.

    • @ahgodamit
      @ahgodamit  7 лет назад +1

      I agree that the first fight is a great practice session for the final battle. As you can tell though I didn't really start sliding like I should have until the last fight. If you couldn't slide I don't know if I ever could have even made it through the game.

      For sure.
      I remember when I was young, playing with my friend, it seemed easy to beat the game on easy or normal because we would just be willing to get close to, or all the way to, our last lives on that "rest". But playing single player, definitely changes things!

      after destroying the barriers in richards fight
      they should use the second boss for the part where he starts sliding through the arena

      Sadly there are a lot of differences between the arcade and SNES versions.

      Same here. A friend borrowed my SNES copy in middle school though and I never got it back. It was one of the biggest upsets of my life.

      +Renz Silungan I had the same problem when I was a kid too. I don't think I beat the game for the first time until I was 13 or so.

    I still dont know how you made Wigwam look so easy i can beat everyboss with no deaths except him

    • @ahgodamit
      @ahgodamit  4 года назад +1

      He took me soooo much practice, and I still can't do it consistently. His knives always make me panic for some reason and his close attack happens so fast.

      Deal with the leftmost one first as you dodge the explosions from his bombs. After that, cling to the chandelier and keep shooting the rightmost one until you kill him; his torches won't hurt you that way.

      @Ladderthief1 6 лет назад +1

      My bad. I thought first time I watched this you used invincibility and a bullet grazed you. Sorry bout that.

    • @ahgodamit
      @ahgodamit  6 лет назад +1

      It's okay. My heart was racing during the fight at the end and it was one of the hardest things I have ever done in a game so it just sucks when people think I cheated at it.

    • @DaedalosC9
      @DaedalosC9 6 лет назад

      probably but, nothing beats the feeling of finishing the game on hard mode when dodging fast bullets
      Im still looking for a video of cormano or bob fighting on a boss rush at hard mode without upgrades out there, can't find it ):

    • @ahgodamit
      @ahgodamit  6 лет назад +3

      +Daedalos maybe one day I will attempt it but I do know that a no upgrades on hard run would be pretty damn tough to say the least. Lol. Even with upgrades on normal it wasn't easy.
